Thank for the details, the pacing, the time to explore ideas and consequences, the psychological delve into all involved, the nods to canon and the transfiguration of plot holes in the moves (transwarp beaming, Khan's casting) into incredible plot devices (seriously. I can't believe how nuanced you made all of it, and how compelling it makes the plot).

Thank you for the regular updates and the dedication to finish this wonderful piece. I started reading at chapter 29, and thought it would just be maybe 10 or more chapters until completion, but I'm so glad we got a whopping 81 total. I've mentioned this before but I'll say it again: this fic got me through my last year of college, the 8 months of anxious interim after college, and even into where I happily find myself today. I've enjoyed every chapter, every twist, every emotional turn and will definitely be rereading this straight through many, many times. It's going to be weird now without any more updates to look forward to, but I'm also so happy to for this ending. Whenever you get some original projects off the ground I am definitely going to be reading them!

So thank you once more for sharing your incredible writing with us. It's truly inspiring that you were able to keep up with this for two years; as someone who struggles with regular (or structured) writing, this encourages me to keep at it no matter what. So many emotions in this chapter! So much juicy angst! This is excellent.

Love this story. This last chapter had a feeling of an ending. I hope that's not the case. I would love to read more...especially about what is happening on the Augment colony. I was kind of hoping that they would have some kind of medical crisis, and Leonard would want to go help. I always want more. :)

I'm speechless. This chapter is perfect. Just… wow. Leonard's emotional breakdown at the end was so intense and painful to watch. But I'm so glad he overcame Khan's conditioning!
The mind meld was so well conducted; every memory was well chosen. We have finally known what happened to Chapel before she ended up on that outpost! I hope people will stop to constantly remind her of what she had done. Enough is enough.
I just have a little question: when did the memory with the Augments take place?
I want Bones to be reunited with Joanna so bad. I even wonder if he will stay in Starfleet. And what about Khan? He can't remain unpunished!
