A very well done and entertaining story. I admit I was hoping for a bit more eldritch horror from the Raven Guard but considering what I got I can't really complain. I've also looked at the sequel and I can't wait to see where Rukiel's journey takes him.

Just like I loved the Roboutian Heresy, I loved this story too. You managed to describe perfectly the band of traitors and their pursuit of the relic, with a series of fighting scenes and creepy moments that were simply...well, perfect. So, thanks for writing it.

Weapons that do things to people beyond their intended violent purpose always make me shudder. Perfect for a RH Raven guard.

Not known for charging mindlessly how different

Is it just me, or did they just walk into a World Eater trap? Seems to convienient. I know they're the main cast, but here's hoping only XII legion warrior walk out.

I'd say the World Eaters have already found the relic, and burned it to slag.

Excellent job displaying the cannon fodder tactics of the spawn and just how the pure bloods treat them. Really like the scene of the Obsidian Talons convincing the survivors to... Tag along.

Expecting some form of twist about this relic, but then again this isn't Alpha legion fudgery. Or maybe... Imma quit while I'm still sane on this one.

Interesting the raven guard traitor legion is always kind of agree that pride in the legion makes the traitors a lot more respectable so hundreds spawn lost for 26 world eaters that a good rate or what ? Wonder what the black legion is doing

Yep that's how traitor marines I imagine act semi loyal to fellow warbands if from the same legion but completely loyalto their primarch

Interesting that there is not only a Blood Angel but also a White Scar and whoever Nikau is in this little warband. This has got to be the most social group of murderous backstabbing demi humans in in service of evil incarnate in like... anything.
