OH wow, that was actually a twist. to think the villain, or at least i assume is the villain we have been waiting for, that would interfere with Vlad's life is non-other than his dead father. A man who was bent and is clearly still bent on making his sons life a living hell.
I can't wait for some justice to be served against this cruel man.
I really love the story so far and can't wait to see how Danny will react to Vlad's suggestion, and if he will take him up on his offer. And if he does, how his friends, parents and caper high will react to Danny's new "Growth spurt." lol.

I think I've got a knack for finding songs to fit any fandom or any fanfic. Let me know as I think I've found the perfect song for Vlad and Danny's relationship when they are same side of good. This is a pretty clever story you have up here. I'm pretty happy that Kelseyalicia introduced me to it. It's very well executed in premise and character development.

interesting concept. The immortality part. The lover part? Not so sure as its a child and an adult. But if they stop aging then I guess that becomes a moot point? all over interesting.

Two chapters so soon? I loved this chapter. it really gives a striking view of human nature, especially for the source material being a kids book.

I know you've only got a few chapters of this written, but with complete sincerity I think at some point down the line I think you should consider making your own book out of the story, albeit in your own universe and not in DP.

It seems that you're writing love between these two as some sort of curse to be avoided. But it isn't, the characters just seem very confused by emotions and oddly completely capable without them. Their humanity is found in their emotions, right? Perhaps write a happy ending? Danny and Vlad make a real, true, deep connection that washes away all the questioning and all the inner turmoil? I dunno. Give love a chance, instead of eternal apprehension? Sorry if this is off base.

It's like that book about how society turned back on itself once there was no frontier of discovery left in the new nation of the USA. Mentally society was very open about the future and possibilities and there was a grand wild west mentality. For these characters, the wild west is the love between them, and I sense they may change (at your discretion) once they accept the love between themselves and commit to making it work for their happiness. The wild west mentality of endless possibilities will fade. Lol these characters have commitment issues. And that's ok.
