unknownstories chapter 9 . 6/26
The Loners' blurbs were definitely the most interesting, especially since I wasn't expecting Belle or Stitch to be included. As for Alice, I loved what you came up with her and am curious as to whom her older brother is. The entire battle with the Beast was executed wonderfully and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of badassery from Riku, Saix, Namine, Sora, Rapunzel, Elsa, Axel, and most of all Belle. This was a hilarious chapter and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My favorite part though was definitely Axel's will. Unfortunately, I've reached the end of the chapters and will have to wait for an update. As for now, I enjoyed the adventure up to this point. I look forward to an update in future.
unknownstories chapter 8 . 6/26
I've come to enjoy these "blurbs" of yours, explaining each character and their ability by clique. It's also highly entertaining because its Axel doing the descriptions. The attention and detail is impressive work, writing wise. When I got to Riku's blurb and it mentioned he was "off the market" my first thought was Rayne? I'll admit, I've grown quite fond of that pairing for Riku. As for the actual chapter when it came to Namine introducing herself and the school to Elsa, I found Axel's relationship with Namine to be humorous. And the fact that Roxas and Xion called Axel out on his crush on Elsa was hilarious. I enjoyed the clocktower scene and this chapter as a whole. Though I'm looking forward to the next chapter, I'm also a bit disappointed I won't be able to read more after chapter 9. I hope that you'll return to this project soon.
unknownstories chapter 7 . 6/26
Alright, now we've reached the actual chapters of the story. I was excited that this chapter was long, especially since it painted a better picture of the universe this story is taking place. I enjoyed all the creativity of the Princesses' abilities and their backgrounds and found each to be unique and comical, especially since it's Axel who is describing them. I also really liked the powers you gave Roxas and Xion, and once again I enjoyed seeing their relationship with Axel. You really captured their friendship like its portrayed in 358/2 Days. It seems that Axel has already developed a crush on Elsa. I look forward to what this interaction with Namine will unfold.
unknownstories chapter 6 . 6/26
First thing I'd like to say is whoa. I was not expecting Terra... or Terra-Xehanort... to make an appearance whatsoever. Clearly, something nefarious is going down here and that is something I want to see explained in future chapters. As for the rest of their adventure, it was nicely tied up and I enjoyed Axel's witty remarks and quips. Also, he is as bold as he is gallant, given he kissed Elsa without warning. I also laughed because she hit him with a snowball because of it. But the last bit of this chapter has me curious and also worried. I look forward to finding out what else happens in this story.
unknownstories chapter 5 . 6/26
I absolutely love the way you cameo so many interesting characters in ways that are unexpected no matter what story it is. The Hyenas from Lion King are perfect for the role of chop shop goons. I also really enjoyed Axel's lesson on Superfreaks 101 because it helps build this universe of mutants and their abilities. I must say, Axel and Elsa do make an interesting team. I also have noted to never mess with Axel when it comes to his Cheetos. This chapter was hilarious and I enjoyed the ending. I also liked that you included your username and explained its meaning for this chapter.
unknownstories chapter 4 . 6/26
I have to say, I wasn't expecting Barret from Final Fantasy VII to make an appearance, but he did and he was a great addition to this chapter. It was hilarious how he chewed up Axel's fake ID and how he was going to let Elsa in without any question. I also liked how you tied in Anna in this universe and how Elsa was sent to Yen Sid's because of it - not that I'm happy that Anna was hurt, mind you. Either way, it seems Elsa's powers have been revealed and Axel keeps hinting at his. I'm just waiting for the moment he reveals them. I'm very intrigued on what happened to the Ferrari.
unknownstories chapter 3 . 6/26
As always the sass and snark are well captured, and it was interesting to find out a little more about Axel and Elsa's backstories. It sounds as if Elsa's parents are similar to how they are portrayed in Ice Cream and Fire Pizza Oven, which only makes me feel sorry for Elsa. It seems no matter what universe, the thought of her parents brings her pain. I did enjoy their introduction and I'm interested to see what happens on the rest of this adventure.
unknownstories chapter 2 . 6/25
These chapters are short and sweet, giving you just enough to make you want to know more, inciting curiosity in its wake. Your Axel narrative is quirky, funny, snarky, and full of wit and sass. I'm used to seeing you write him as a dork and obviously him at his canon counterpart. Judging by what I'm reading, I'm guessing that Axel and Elsa are teenagers in this. I could be wrong, however. Either way, I enjoyed the banter and this fun little adventure thus far. I'm looking forward to the next part of the prologue.
unknownstories chapter 1 . 6/25
It seems I'm working down the list of your stories. I was mostly curious to see how different your narrative of Axel is from your narrative of Elsa's in Ice Cream and Fire Oven Pizza. It's amazing how you can write two completely different voices, but also can tell it's definitely the same author who has written both. As for this intro, it was comical and engrossing. I'm curious about this Institute of the Gifted and what kind of powers are going to be introduced. I also can tell I'm going to enjoy the banter between Axel and Elsa in this story. I'm looking forward to the rest of this story.
Clogallie chapter 4 . 6/11/2019
YES I love that Elsa can keep up with Axel’s banter! The sparks are flying! I see you subtly slipping in that Axel thinks Elsa is pretty...yes, just admit it, Axel! This chapter sort of furthers what I mentioned in my last review, a subversion of dynamics so Elsa has the upper hand. She’s sorta like a bemused passerby who’s here for the ride. And yes, you go into the club by yourself, Miss Thirty-Seven-Years-Old! I think Elsa announcing that was my favorite scene - somehow it was so easy to picture in my mind. Elsa’s backstory came out so smoothly in the narrative, and I was just as invested as Axel in understanding this mysterious girl. Andddd the pleasant cliffhanger! I have no idea where this is going, nor how you’ve written chapters of just their first encounter in one night, but I’m here for the ride!
Clogallie chapter 3 . 5/29/2019
I was smiling throughout this chapter - from anticipation of Axel getting busted by the cop, to finding out Elsa owns the car (did not see that coming!), to their rapid fire questions. The moment when Axel’s takes aback by Elsa owning the car was great, I thought it was a nice subversion of dynamics with Elsa finally having the upper hand. I loved learning more about their characters, and you expertly avoid dwelling in the angst with Axel’s narration. I burst out laughing at the line where Axel asks where to sign up for free Ferraris every time someone’s a douchebag. It’s so cool to see their conversation and relationship naturally develop, I hope the story keeps Axel’s lighthearted tone even as the plot slowly grows heavier!
Clogallie chapter 2 . 5/25/2019
The fun continues! I absolutely LOVE Axel’s voice and how you write his narration. The way he says sarcastic things with a straight tone cracks me up! From testing for poison, to ‘knowing everything’ about our mystery girl, to flicking her forehead in response to an angst-ridden rant - I love that he’s so straightforward and honest with himself. Also, loving your vocabulary usage! It keeps things precise and punchy.

More foreshadowing about their respective powers, some background about the school, and general harmless fun (except smoking. Smoking is bad, kids. But it fits Axel’s role in this story well). Can’t wait to see what else is revealed in the next stop of this unpredictable pair!
Clogallie chapter 1 . 5/15/2019
Hello! I definitely remember glimpsing through this story when it first came out but never left a review - so here I am! It’s been too long, my friend, and I hope you’ve been well!

For starters, I absolutely LOVE Axel’s punchy tone and his one-liners! He really drives the whole story forward, even though not much happens plot-wise except two students talking about cars and curfew. ;) I also like how you naturally introduce a lot of information in this chapter via Axel’s narration. Since this is a supernatural setting, world-building is very important, and you provide details without making it feel like an info dump! Also, we learn a little about other characters too, such as Saix the teacher pet, Rapunzel the overachiever, and The New Girl’s mysterious powers...

There’s such a perfect blend of plot and characterization so far, I’m looking forward to where this story goes!
ReapersValentine chapter 2 . 7/5/2018
It's been a while, but I finally got some time to review your next chapter. I love your writing... that hasn't changed one bit. What I love about this chapter is that they're just hanging out and being real as well as getting to know each other in the strangest way possible. Discovering powers... well, trying to. Brings a smile to my face. :D

Keep it up!
ReapersValentine chapter 1 . 6/12/2018
I love your writing skills! Very impressed by how the fluidity of each sentence just entangles with the next one so easily, for starters. Yes, they really are wrapped up in an enigma and truly both are mysterious. I have a mighty hunt of who she his, but I don’t wanna say until I’ve seen her name written. The length of the chapter was perfect, btw. Great job. :)
