I was happy to give this story a try after being made aware of it's arrival since I had a bit of free time, and I'd like to share all that work you put in it, made the story shine. Sacrifices made for the sake of love can add that something special when the pair finally come together, and I think you executed that concept well.

I think you expressed the drama of the story really well! And also for me, the structure worked. Even if I don't know this anime, I was quite drawn. The first flashback I enjoyed a lot since it showed their teasing and eventually that passionate declaration would probably be enough to make any female character swoon. Lol. The break up scene was heartwrenching. For a princess to act desperate, it showed how devastating his words were even when she knew he was lying. But good thing she was able to get back a bit of her royal pride by turning her back on him at the end of the scene.
The king's words to Hak is very believable in both content and how you portrayed his voice in the formal language. And of course the ending I am happy with. I think my favorite line is 'loving you is like breathing etc'. Even if its kinda cheesy. Lol. Anyway i think it's one of your best one shots! Yay! :)
