I love the fanfiction. Isaac is my favourite and fir me it is really hard to find a good fanfic with him. I really want his father to get what he deserves for torturing my baby. I hope you continue writing it. Tanks for the amazing reed.

I hope they nail Isaac's father to the wall, literally. Take some thick nails and hang him like an ugly, alcohol-drenched picture.

How will Allison react? Of course, how Isaac reacts will be of the most importance, if he survives. How will he adjust to no longer being human? Scott isn't Derek, so a lot of what shaped Isaac's... frankly douchebag personality after his bite won't be there. The desire to please an overbearing, uncaring Alpha by capturing Scott and being a general pain in the butt to everyone around him... Like Stiles or Lydia. Scott might not be a great Alpha, but he's not nearly as obsessed as Derek was in the beginning.

If he changes someone, he loses his True Alpha status? But he bit Liam, and he's still a True Alpha... Speaking of biting Liam, they should have had Sean Walcott survive and join the pack. (I'm not bashing Liam, but I REALLY felt for Sean. His death upset me more than any other in the series, though Theo murdering Josh Diaz twice is a close second) I think everyone has a lot of things they wish had happened differently in canon. Like having Isaac actually being happy and not losing everything he loves over and over again.

Sorry, rambling. If it takes, Isaac will be free of all of the physical pain he's in, but not the mental. I look forward to seeing how this will work out.

I love this story! I've been reading this on Archive of Our Own, not realizing it was also posted here, where I can actually comment!

Isaac is the unluckiest person in Teen Wolf. First his mother dies, then his big brother, his father is a sadistic abuser who tortures him for fun and is eventually murdered by a humanoid lizard who is also one of Isaac's friends. He finally finds a place with Derek, only to be thrown out like garbage, he finds a girlfriend, and she dies in his arms... Why can't Isaac have good things?

The description of his burns and injuries is painful to read, they're so vivid. The fact that Allison goes to school with him and has no idea who he is. That even at school no one notices him missing. Even the bit about his sneakers being worn out... It's all so tragic. But at least he has people who care now. When Allison realized that the boy who saved her had been abused and was seeking medical help when he sacrificed himself for her... This will change her life, for sure. It will change all of their lives, and hopefully it will change Isaac's for the better.

The dream? sequence with Camden was so sad, and the end, where he says he could use a 'Camden hug' was heartbreaking. He deserves so much love.

I also liked how you had the Sheriff consider his own brief period when he almost ended up like that, how Melissa and Stiles helped save him from the bottle and his own grief and pain.

I wonder if the Pack is going to do something rash once they find out who was abusing Isaac? Something that involves inflicting a great deal of pain on a certain sadistic old man?

I hate that old man. Killing him was probably the best thing Matt ever did.

Love Isaac. He's one of my favorite characters and there are not enough ficd with him and this is the first fix I found that tells his story. Please continue
