I know this story's been sleeping for the better part of three years, but something about your Author's Note provoked a thought that I had to share.
Given that Percy is a demigod, I can see Poseidon having some issues with someone calling Percy a Mudblood, as that's an insult to Poseidon himself.
Can't the get the mental image of Poseidon flashing into the Great Hall in full 'Earthshaker btw' mode and going up to Draco like 'heard you was talking shit?!'
