I know this fanfic is mainly about Sougo and Kagura's relationship and i had fun reading your version of it, but in my opinion, the MVP here is Shinpachi. I haven't watched the entirety of Gintama but as far as I have, the only time Shinpachi's fighting skills received as much respect as you have given them was in the Courtesan of a Nation Arc and I loved the way you portrayed him, fighting skills as well as mommy skills. I agree that without much experience or advanced physical capabilities, he is probably the weakest of the main cast but that doesn't mean he can't do anything.
On another note, Gin and Hijikata scolding the kids was so cute and sweet! and these 3 being friends like this is also so enjoyable.
Bottom line, this is one of my most favourite fanfics due to the way you have written each character and their thoughts and relationships with each other.

Great story! I've always thought that SougoKaguraShinpachi will gonna be an awesome bestfriends, doing all crazy things together and Pachie most likely act like a mom for them lol XD. Sadly, there're not many interactions they three had in canon like that. Well... Pachie will gonna be a third wheel tho but I want to see them interact more as bestfriends XD Thank you for writing this story! This is so enjoyable to read for me

No need to be low key proud - you should be epically proud. This was completely awesome! I absolutely loved it. I think my favorite moment of this chapter was Gintoki finding Shinpachi at the warehouse and their reactions. I had to reign in the laughter in the train for fear of dreaming people out.

Their friendship is really cute, I've always thought they kind of suit each other. I laughed way too hard when Shinpachi said he also wasted his money. About Sougo and Kagura, I think I've already said this before but seriously, it isn't difficult to imagine them acting like a pair of idiots lovebirds. I'm pretty sure I had more to say but seems like I forgot so I'm gonna end it here.

This... this is so amazing. Characters are just as Gorilla would write them, the story itself is so comprehensive with a side plot that connects and is just so Gintama. Not to mention overall - your writing is superb and intelligent and just so perfectly in tune with the characters and the world and how Gintama is written and I love it so much I’m just continuing these run on sentences because I want to sing your praises!
But yes, excellent and amazing and on one hand I am super excited to see the next chapter and on the other hand, I will be sad to not have something amazing to look forward to. Thank you so much for writing this!
