Oh no I am all caught up now! What will I read in the meantime?! seriously though it’s a really good story I can’t wait to see where you go next.

I am greatly enjoying this story, I do think he may want to not sit on his attribute points so long. I get saving them up so I’m the future when they are harder to grind he can use them then. I’m just saying it’s smart to get used to your new strength before a fight. Say he suddenly needs to drastically boost his dexterity during a tough battle he will have to relearn his speed and regime his attacks something much easier when done gradually. I personally would use like at least 5 a month even when saving them up just because I have learned about hoarding crap and skills till the end game only to not be able to use it at the last minute when I get stuck in a battle on which using those isn’t an option.

My only real complaint is that he seems to want to copy a good bit of cannon romans story for no real reason. I mean why the cane weapon from cannon? Honestly a dagger or gauntlet blade would be a better weapon for a thief. Why attract cinder to get her attention when he could just go about his own things for now and prepare for when she shows up. I just have seen too many story’s where the MC goes out of their way to preserve most of the stories cannon plot so they know what is happening. THhose stories tend to revolve around a MC who does all the exact same things but just makes the best options instead of the cannon ones. By that I mean it will be an avengers story and the MC will get Tony and Cap to see their differing views and work together, atop the argument that happens right before the explosion all the while making all the cool one liners that others said in the story. It makes for a very dull story if it copies to closesly to cannon and the Mc risks being a “Gary Sue”.

I am not saying that is what you’re doing by any means, I am simply pointing it out as a possibility if he keeps holding to the idea of stay true to cannon till he suddenly swops in to rescue those who matter and save the world. Long story short I have very high hopes I just hope we see some branching out from cannon Roman.

hmm a smuggler sounds great. though he probably need some extra skills in stealth n acting so he doesn't look out of place or suspicious. though it could be very wrong if he gets like conscripted by force to some kinda criminal organization. he is ultra weak at the moment.

…. ruby… guess she’s never heard of stranger danger. taking food from strange older men….it would be ironic if he permanently ruined canon with this. for example, Tai n Qrow discovering what happened and being waaay more strict on her and Yang as a result in her having a different personality that doesn't go head long into danger like her usually happy go lucky ditsy naive self.

one alternative situation is go into a shop and inform the shop keeper to phone the public announcement thing at the concierge centre or the security office about a lost child.

guess he shoulda upgraded the int stat.

instead of being a creeper n buying a ticket to go to Patch n stalking Ruby n her family couldn't he have used the local equivalent of the internet and social media to look up the schnees? Being such a high class and controversial family it would be easy to find Weiss' age.
