I really enjoyed that, even if it was a tad depressing _ Well written, only a few mistakes such as the random “June 1864” when I’m pretty sure Mike wasn’t alive yet ;)
The plot was believable, don’t worry about the nosebleeds seeming unrealistic, I also have experienced similar reactions to stress and emotional pain, unfortunately. (Although I must confess I thought at first it might have something abstractly to do with Eleven herself, considering how she also gets nosebleeds but for a different reason). Thanks for taking the time to write this! Perhaps you will see fit to add more, but it’s perfectly enjoyable as it is, too.
