Really good. Sad without being mushy, and so much attention given to detail. Not the happiest of stories but a very well-crafted one.

Oh my god, this has destroyed me. It was heart wrenching but beautifully written and after the bit in Cal's perspective I thought it couldn't possibly get sadder but then it did. I just feel so sorry for Ethan. Those last two lines killed me. I honestly loved this (even though I hate the situation, but that's not of your choosing) and I want to pick out the bits that were most powerful but I'm kinda crying too much to do so. Sure it won't be the last time I cry today though, dreading tonight. But the imagery in this was fantastic, I was picturing the scene the whole way through. Great job. Our poor boys :(

This was so good and so sad it made me cry I hope Cal doesn't die but we can all see it coming please could u write another chapter where Cal is in the ED being treated and have what is going through Iain max Connie Charlie Sam Ethan and Alicia mind and then Cal as a ghost saying a proper goodbye to them all proper including Lily xx
