Hey, I just found this fic after revisiting my Naruto phase! While I read this version first and not the first version, I absolutely loved this version and noticed that you updated the first version very recently! I'll probably read through the first version but I'll be patiently waiting for this version to be updated!

All right, here we go. I read both versions of the story and I agree with other readers that the revision is better written.
This is the opinion of an Akatsuki fan who found your perspective refreshing.
Of course it's not perfect (like probably my English) and I'm not into S&M and that sort of thing, but your style is catchy and I was hooked from the first line.
To me, the most superb quality of this story is the realism you put into it (or semi-realism, given that it's a Naruto fanfiction).
I appreciated two things particularly: the demystification and the scope you gave to the human nature of one of my favourite baddies.
Just to start off you took this wicked smart, wicked gifted man, this bird-person who is always pictured as something unattainable (think all the sky imagery, his powerage, etc.) and you demystified him. You put him out of his element with flair, without "spoiling" him (thank you for not turning him into a lovable guy...because hell no, he isn't! As someone who tends to prefer villains, I really appreciated it. I won't tell you how irritating most of the OOC Akatsuki fanfic are to me!).
It was not just the humiliation, the physical and verbal violence and the sexual abuse: it's also about how you expose his thoughts (which aren't certainly nice or holy), how you make him talk.
Second, strictly related to this, is how well you showed that at the end of the day he's just human.
Just like it can happen to everyone, Deidara is having a hard time: he's messed up, his hair disheveled, his pride crushed. He's bleeding, wounded, furious, throwing tantrums; he is starving, he wants to rest, he too needs to pee and throws up, just like everyone else.
Very demystifying indeed.
And on the other hand he is teasing, sneaky, he's wound up and most of all, himself.
You made him tangible, more like a person. And he's fully recognisable.
You made me think "ahh, him too!", "well, you had it coming", "oh no!", "poor thing...", "what a bastard", "good for you!"
Thank you for showing that also very powerful people are just...people. And for exploring the person behind the terrorist/bad guy and his reactions.
If you read the whole thing, well, thank you for this too!

It is quite different from the original, the storyline is smoother but the story seems to be moving very fast. Its only chapter 4 and Hidan and Kakuzu have already popped out. Or maybe it's just me wanting it to slow down and not wanting this story to end soon. :P

I haven’t read a fanfic or logged onto this site in literally about 10 YEARS and I am loving your story. I accidentally read the original version first and I kind of like that one better tbh. Maybe I just got too attached to that one? But i liked the way you wrote (it wasn’t confusing to follow for me personally) and i never thought the KakaDei seemed forced either. In fact I could kind of see them together now and it’s so refreshing to explore other pairs like thisanyway i’ll still read it whatever happens but i hope you sorta stick to the original too! can’t wait for more!

So happy you’re rewriting this! So far I think it’s great. Much more cohesive and not as forced in some areas. You’ve improved a lot. Can’t wait for the next chapter!
