| Glimare chapter 1 . 9/16/2018 Kinda expecting a scene from the next day after that. Marinette was in a daze the next morning, her thoughts only on Chat and his wonderful lips. She entirely missed seeing Adrien walk in, more energy in his step than usual, and a devious grin on his face the second his eyes laid on her. Though he was tempted to say 'hi' and break her from her daze, he wanted to bask in knowing he caused it a little longer. The bell rang and class started. Ms. Bustier gathered everyone's attention, even the dazed girl in the second row, and got them back on track. "Okay, everyone. Open up to page XXX. Act 2, scene 2. Now, who's going to be Romeo?" Marinette stiffened, looking down at her book. The fuzzy daze from the previous night burst into flames as reality hit her. This was not the scene she practiced last night with Chat Noir. "THAT CAD!" Adrien desperately tried to contain his laughter, not daring to look at his friend behind him. So worth it. Yeah, that was what I wanted to see at the end. Sneaky kitty. Loved it. |

I've always loved Shakespeare, so I'm not surprised in the slightest that it was made even better with the help of Marinette and Chat acting out one of its most famous scenes. It was so funny when you described Chat listening beneath the balcony and then had him idly wonder whether or not to "speak at this"; what a clever way to slip in that line. :) |
