I absolutely love this short story. Short but with great depths of emotion and of humans. We can be so great, like Martha, but also terrible and without regard of life, like Holston. Martha was so brilliant going into the centre that was so different from how it was pitched. Brave, and fierce and not letting Holston know the true emotions she was feeling. I enjoyed Martha, Amy and Rory figuring out how to get Rose out with minimum to no damage or violence. The Doctor being so proud and happy at them working together for his Rose. I also heartily enjoyed Holston realizing how much trouble he was in when he realized who the Doctor was. One does not mess around and hurt Rose Tyler without having to deal with the Doctor's fury and rage.

Wonderfully done in-character story. You need to fix a few run on sentences, and there's a couple places where you forgot to make the word possessive (blondes should be blonde's), but otherwise it was a great read!

I would really like to read a story without Rose, a good characterization of the 11th Doctor and that UNIT are the good guys. This story would have been better with the original Torchwood who were hunting the Doctor.
