This was wonderfully well written. I actually do like Dan and Lucifer’s interaction, and despit their obvious reluctance to work with each other (or be near each other), there is this vibe around them- like they could be good friends. Great story! Thank you :)

That was nice! I think that Dan must have come to a fair bit of 'improv-ement' if he can start to see Lucifer as a friend... and act with so much concern. Quite like Chloe, he's usually resisting to Luci's "charms" (while the daughter is obviously not). Besides, our devil is also very fidgety when non-sexual touch is implied, oozing unease. So that's a big step forward you show us here, for both.
But "what if" is the middle name of fanfiction, right? And I love it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THIS! There aren't enough Lucifer and Dan stories and their friendship is something that really needs to be expanded on. This story was really sweet and I'm tearing up right now.
