I'm awe struck at how amazing this story, I really hope that you actually start on that sequel

This story is amazing. I was sucked in from the first few paragraphs, and your ability to get the ball rolling, then have it main more and more momentum as the story progresses delighted me. I really hope you continue with that sequel you mentioned in the last chapter.

Would love to read PNM as there are still so many questions left unanswered in Pedestal. Hope it makes it out someday.

This was one of the most interesting stories I have ever read, solely based on the emotional dynamic. The story starts off with the familiar Star and Marco theme, but over the course of several well written chapters, you evolved it into a kind of "peak" where they finally have each other and it all seems perfect. Then it happens. The FEAR begins. God I loved that paragraph. That twist was legendary, and it fits so well with the theme of parallels. When something is too good to be true, there is usually a dark side, and you demonstrated that very well, whether by intention or inspiration. The constant fear Marco demonstrated is palpable from your writing. The fear that the bond they have created between themselves has begun changing them in ways that contradict their original personalities is shown excellently though your monologues. The way Marco is portrayed as being scared that the mark is changing him and Star, specifically how she can now commit cruel acts without blinking. The way Star tries to get Marco to dump his morality, while failing to realize that it's that same morality that made Marco the way he is, which naturally leads to a terrified Marco. Damn dude, you hit that plot twist shit right out of the park. I just binged read this at 3 am, and I blame you for my lack of sleep. Thanks for the story.
