very original subject, and an essential and fitting 'missing scene'.
I hated that Butcher made McCoy his grandfather (he started without family and suddenly they popped up everywhere*), but as he did, he really should have had him connect with Thomas too.

*Except his mother, for a woman with such a mysterious live and death, I expected her to be still alive somewhere waiting for plot to happen..
