Very hypnotizing writing! Great story so far! I’m looking forward for the next update

I am impressed by how your are skipping between the scenes and years so smoothly - I feel like this is an art that requires a lot of skill, so props for that! Furthermore, I find the way you are depicting the characters very authentic- as well as the mental health related issues. Nothing is described in an overly dramatic or boring fashion but in the golden middle. I would love to read more of this and hope that you might feel inspired to continue with this soon. :)

You have no idea how much I've waited for this update! And again, you fulfilled my every expectation. This chapter was so intense, so exciting that I was literally biting my nails through it! Poor Emma, She must have been terrified. :( I really hope those bastards will soon be brought to justice!

You're killing me here! I was on my way to work when I noticed that you had updated - and I had to read this in the bus, I just couldn't wait!

This was probably my favorite chapter so far. I loved the way you described Emma's feelings, the flutter in her chest, her blushing cheeks... It felt so real! And L, oh my god, he was adorable again. I bet he's a good dancer - he's been raised as an English gentleman after all! :D The dancing scene was just perfect!

Oh, yes! I loved this chapter so much! Especially the first part, where Emma woke up into a nightmare, and L was by her side - all nervous and scared, panicking a little. He's so cute, I can't take it! :D And you write him so well, as I've said before. His little hesitation with words in "Th- there's no need to apologize." was just aaaaahhh!

I also liked the arrival into Wammy's house. It was beautifully described, and just as I had imagined.
It's also nice that they finally thought of giving Emma some meds! :D (Poor Emma, after all she's been through - and it took weeks before they gave her the happy pills.) :D

YES, YES, YES, this was totally worth the wait!
I woke up this morning, noticing you had updated, and I swear, I had to read this right away in the bed - before my breakfast - that much I had waited for this chapter!

You are a super talented writer. This doesn't feel like a fanfic - this feels like a novel, a well written one. I enjoy the detailed description of L that you've mastered. You portray him so realistically, better than any other writer. And not just his appearance, but everything about him. The way he talks, the way he thinks - the way he is.

And the plot? AMAZING! I had a hunch this might be the case. I don't know if you've read the novels of Torey Hayden, but something about Emma reminds me of those traumatized children Torey Hayden writes about. I wasn't surprised by L's revelation - it totally makes sense.

What can I say? This is one of my all time favorite fics, and by far my favorite Death Note fanfic ever. My only wish is that you update soon.

L just seems so realistic, and the way that Emma and him interact just seems so ligitimate, as if it was part of the actuall script.

Oh, I had been waiting for this chapter soooo much! Had to read it right away when I got home from work, and it was totally worth the wait! You write that it was 'all over the place', but I feel that you managed to keep it together nicely. It is difficult to write a story that happens in multiple times and settings, but you do it very well. It was easy to follow, and didn't jump back and forth too much.

I am as impressed as ever, with the way you write the characters, managing to keep them true to the original story. Mello sure is an interesting character, and I'm curious to know more about Emma and Mello's past. And I loved the first scene, the beginning of this chapter, where L asked "Do you remember Kaitlyn?". What a way to begin a chapter! Emma's reaction was very well described too.

I hope you keep on writing, and that you find time to update soon. I absolutely love this fic.

I honestly cried when Emma fell apart on L's grave! I hate it that he's dead, my heart breaks for both him and Emma, and you managed to capture the feeling so well!

And then the conversation between Emma and L about her love life?! It was on spot! I can't tell you how much I loved it, and I was literally biting my nails while reading, in anticipation to see how it ends.

Matsuda, he's just so adorable. I loved the graveyard scenes.
