New chapter! I must say, it's about time. Bad Taskemus, making us all wait.

I hate to start with a criticism, but the line where Yeoman Rand says "Kirk's down there," I don't think she'd just call him Kirk. I mean, sure, we do, but the characters would call him Captain Kirk. Or just the Captain. Or Jim, depending on who's talking. Or, I'll grant you, they did start calling each other by their last names in Amok Time, but it sounded strange (the only bad part of that truly excellent episode). What was my point? i have forgotten. I will move on.

Oh yeah, Mccoy's plan is just great. We'll go down and get him. Only issue is HOW.

Giggle, so they sorta accidentally follow Spock's plan anyway. The Romulans are distracted, Kirk runs for it.

And we're left with a much too short chapter. Write more quickly please. and the POV sounded fine to me. The 357 possibilities bit was amusing, and very Spockish.

Good chapter, too short, write more. Please?

The Romulans never get Kirk? I dunno...actually, on the actual show I guess they never did. Well, they _did_ but that was all an elaborate plan that culminated with Spock killing Kirk. I'm digressing again. i think I'll just stop here, and if I've confused anyone my mission has been achieved!

Yeah, I might think Spock was a lunatic at that point...but then again, Spock _always_ knows what he's talking about. Even when no one else does.
