YAY! Nice long chappie you updated! Quite eventful and loaded chapter, the story's getting pretty dramatic. What I appreciate the most on your stories, you bend the canon so gracefully that it doesn't scrape. Isobel might be a bit too much of a motherly figure, so it seems, but she works. So does John (I always liked them). Loving the pointed ending, 'We're going to Mikael'. Surprising, exciting, a bit of scary. Also the Elijah/Elena short but sweetest moments. Just a few paragraphs in the chapter and I was already full of anticipation. I like Sheila Bennett paired with Davina, who knows what can happen! :D The way you present the story has us all doubting Mikael's intentions but also reminds us it might come to difficult decisions and situations where Elijah, or even Elena herself won't be able to act according to their promises and wishes and 'betrayals' could become acts of bravery. Thank you so much for the update, I enjoyed very much, can't wait for the next.

Aaaahhh, very welcome update, made my day! This chapter was perfectly balanced. More witches, more mystery, more mythology, shadow of future angst. But also a perfect alone happy moment of just the two of them, finding new allies, starting forming some kind of plan. I've always loved Sheila, happy to have her on this. I don't miss Abby though, this actually gives her more purpose than what they delivered on the tv show.

I suspect John will cause some trouble.

Could be anything more perfect than the kiss? Awe, he gave her medallion. Perfect ending, Elena allowing herself feeling hopeful.

Sorry for missing the party! I read the chapter in the morning on the way to work (best way to spend the morning, by the time I arrived I was fully awake and even excited!.

This chapter is a perfect mix of dramatic, emotional, hot and moving plot forward. Those little nuances I love the most! All there!

I always loved Elijah/Marcel alliance (yeah, the actors helped ;) this one's no different. I'm thrilled how you're playing with the show's events and circumstances.

I'm intrigued by this Marcel/Davina connection, like literal one, can't wait how you'll use it in the future.

The delicious atmosphere when they can't trust each other (except Marcel / Davina, they clearly do), who'd blame Elena for having doubts (or Davina, or Marcel), I'm really glad you presented us Elijah's thoughts too, it was a good balance.

I hope Elijah won't take the noble path and leave her! (yes, thinking of "This Is Our Last Goodbye" :)

Davina and Marcel! So cool, I just love these two and they're not used that often, I very much enjoyed their presence.

I also liked that there can be still found doubts when someone says something, it's so natural (and it has nothing to do with the relationship they're building.
