Okay! So I just watched the POTC trilogy for the first time and naturally needed more Will and Elizabeth, and this is the exact kind of slowburn-ish romantic angsty fluff I needed. Thank you for writing this, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Aww... this was wonderful! I'm so sorry about the long delay in reading and replying, but life and work have been keeping me busy. *sigh*

I really loved this, angsty as it was, with Rebecca in the picture and Lucy asking some gut-wrenching questions. I love the way you worked "marry me" into the story too, it was reminiscent from that scene from the actual movie. Well done!

Now that Elizabeth knows what her father did, I really hope they can find a loophole to work in their favor in the courtroom. :)

Wow, what to say? Well, the sword to the heart is in...I assume you’ll give it the fatal twist in the next chapter, eh? ;).
I felt a bit wary when I saw the notification for this chapter in my inbox, and rightly so! Even though I knew what was coming, it was still painful to read, and you have this wonderful talent for sucking your readers into the story and making them acutely feel each and every emotional twist. Very well written, as always.
As far as Beckett and Weatherby Swan are concerned, I haven’t felt such a homicidal urge (?) toward a fictional character since Delores Umbrage! . I’m really hoping that there’s either a complete 180, or a horrible fate awaiting those two. Those scarab bugs that eat people from the inside out, from the movie “The Mummy” would do...:)
It will be interesting to hear Will’s P.O.V. about all of this...

I have a feeling that Elizabeth’s father had a hand in locating Lucy’s biological mother...and paying her off. I hope I’m wrong, but he just gives me an uneasy feeling.

I loved this, even though I wanted to smack Weatherby a few times. I really hope that he won't manipulate Elizabeth into doing something she will regret. I guess only time will tell.

Will shaving and cutting off his curly locks to make a good impression was adorable and very touching. He and Elizabeth are so cute together, that I never want this story to end, LOL. :P

And what a bombshell at the baby shower. I'm so glad that Bria was there to look over the papers and hopefully this lawsuit will improve her relationship with Will. I can't wait to see what happens next, and I hope you update soon.

Holy moly. Still holding my breath from that last scene.

Well anyway - once again you've completely captured the romance between Will and Elizabeth in a modern AU like I've never seen before. I like the tension building with Elizabeth's father and I'm crossing my fingers for a happy ending with the Rebecca/Lucy conflict, since so far Willabeth has had a happy ending in every other scenario.
