This story is a rare gem in the Code Geass fanfiction world. I hope that we will see an update soon.

I found this gem today and was amazed by the detail and attention put into this. There are a couple good stories about Lelouch being brought back to Britania and having to plot from within but this is one of the better ones I've read. You've managed to still keep him as Lelouch but at the same time there are minor differences in character which would of course emerge from the different experiences and trials he's faced. Really enjoying Monica as well. I truthfully forgot who she was so I had to look her up but you've done well in making her a substantial character. Of course we can't forget about Jeremiah. I liked how you added his story of coming into Lelouch's service. Great stuff

Quite a fun story so far, I was pleasantly surprised when Monica was introduced as one of Lelouch's officers, I always did like her character and found it a shame that she was so under utilized in the series.

i really like the lelouch / monica interactions. i cant help but find it cute :) go jeremiah! mr. storm of loyalty saves the day due to his instincts :) lelouch still needs to get super ninja maid sayoko to complete the duo of super loyal subordinates ( i shamelessly admit to be a fan of the jeremiah/sayoko pairing :) ). All Hail Lelouch!

Lelouches command staff seem like a intresting if not radically obsessed with the way Lelouch runs things, I like them, hope he sticks with the same guys molding them into his own personal force mabey even renames the force but im getting ahead of my self.
Monicas sceans are always good I like the fact that its Lelouch doing the teasing mainly and not rhe other way around like most storys its a nice change of pace also double induwindos are fan fantastic.
Ha Jeremiah looks like an Orange when hes mad, thats great.
The way you had Jeremiah figure out the farmer was full of it was an intresting look into Jeremiah character and a well needed one. Also it will be intresting to see if Kewel or Viletta pop up and how they take to the new Jeremiah and the 11th prince.

No problem, I didn't think you'd actually reply to me. Pretty sure I posted that review within an hour of you posting and I thought, "Well, that's never gonna get read." And if you want meat, I'll give you meat.

I didn't think about Moroccan broadcast in that way and now you got my mind considering the consequences. If I'm watching the news and I see it, what am I thinking? Military figure. Sitting on a throne. Victory. Conqueror. Hero? Patriotic. At least from a Britannian point of view. Very similar to his image in Dauntless and LoB. While thinking of publicity, I realized I left out a small but active percentage of the public: celebrities. Actors, authors, thinkers, sports players. I can't remember which fanfic it was, but in a chapter going over the guest list for one of Clovis' parties, its mentioned that Japanese celebs were invited, despite the conquest. It goes something like, "they didn't lose their celebrity status just because their country fell, they just adapted to entertain a new audience." Celebs would be a good middle ground, kinda like Diethard, instead of interacting with the public directly. I remember in the Oz the Reflection manga, Odysseus features in a gardening or zoo show and appears in the emergency warning message that's broadcasted on Brit TV. Sokkia Sherpa of the Glinda Knights is in advertisements for bicycles and burgers early on, and later the Glinda Knights participate in an exhibition jousting match in the Competitive KMF League for charity. 'Libra' from the CG: Code Black soundtrack is on youtube and is song by the Japanese voice actor for Lelouch. Milly could hold some party/ball/charity/talent event that she pressures Lulu into and him singing is either broadcasted or secretly uploaded to the net.

Military wise, I enjoyed reading about a war still waged mainly with tanks and infantry, it feels . . . grounded, realistic. I tried to think of other shows with prodigy-lvl tacticians that inspiration could be derived from. The plethora of characters in Valkyria Chronicles is one such source. While I'm much more a fan of the Imperials and bad guys in general, Lt. Welkin Gunther of Gallia was a uni student before he joined the army. Studying Animal Sociology, he had an extensive knowledge of his country's native flora and fauna, which "[served] as a basis for his military strategies." Whether in Africa, Japan, or anywhere else, Lelouch could realize having local knowledge on his side can be a great boon on his side, like why an army unit is avoiding a grove of trees, which are considered holy/haunted by the locals or they produce a sap strong enough to trap infantry, or the smell they produce is potent enough that once it clings to something, anyone could tell where that smell comes from. On the Imperial side, among Prince Maximilian, Selvaria, Berthold Gregor, I thought Gen. Radi Jaeger stood out. A general of another country defeated and released by Maximilian, he joins the prince not out of loyalty to the Empire, but to help his own country gain independence through Max's victory. I thought this was similar to Suzaku's reasoning, and someone such as this could be an obstacle to Cornelia/Lelouch in Africa. Lelouch did say that he needed officers that could offer him different opinions. Oh, Lydia Agthe. She's blonde, she's hot, she's crazy, Nonette-esc, and
an armored vehicle specialist, I love her. I don't want Lelouch's inner circle to turn into comic relief, but I think she'd be a great counter balance to Monica and would offer Lelouch the bloodier options. Read up on her and I think you'll wind she's a deeper character than I can describe.
She could be an officer under someone else's command that at first belittles Lulu but, like in VC, is betrayed and abandoned, only to be picked up by him or one of his other officers. Legends of the Galactic Heroes is another good source, however, I've never found the time to watch it. I'm a huge fan of Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars, both cannon and Legends versions of him. I thought of the season 3 finale of the SW: Rebels cartoon show, where Thrawn has Rebels cornered, but one of his underling admirals, who is a glory hound and has been humiliated/demote in the past by Thrawn, brakes formation in order take the honor of killing the enemy commander for himself, only to be killed as the enemy commander rams his ship in a suicide run. This ultimately always some rebels to escape, and Thrawn's plan to nip the rebellion early on his foiled, despite technically being victorious. Something similar could happen to Lulu to further teach him about command and separate chess from rl. He'd also be a good inspiration for a character to work under/beside Lelouch. He's a person that despite being an alien in a human-centric empire, still fights on and attains one of the highest ranks within it not because he believes in its values, but because it is the most viable option to bring about peace. Think the Zimmerman unification theory from Dauntless. He's got great quotes, too many to list, such as, "Do you know the difference between an error and a mistake? Anyone can make an error. But the error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it."

If you like that bit about the Imperial Senate, I did a little more digging, and they come up again in the Nightmare of Nunnally spin-off. When Charles begins preparing for that AU's version of Ragnarok and has all area Viceroys charged with treason, Schneizel, in his capacity as Imperial Prime Minister, confronts the emperor and informs him that the Imperial Senate have moved to veto Charles’ order. Charles, in a very Palpatine-like fashion, responds, "I AM the Empire," and dissolves the Senate and places all members under arrest including Schneizel. Cornelia mentions that legally, in order to crown a new ruler, (assuming its a period of national emergency like in NoN, otherwise I assume the first heir ascends), a candidate must be put forth with at least 80% of Senate and half of Royalty approval. The Royalty half may be circumvented if 100% of the Senate agree, which is suggested when Euphemia is informed that before confronting the Emperor, Schneizel and the Senate voted 100% for her, but there is no mention of other royal siblings voting likewise. Good for an endgame, no?

Uh, what else, what else. Are there any plans on featuring Marrybell or anything from Oz the Reflection? Also, I realized with last names like Krushevsky and Lamperouge, either one or both of them could be approached by the EuroBrits. Feel free to bounce ideas off me, I know my Geass lore. Oh, while re-reading the broadcast scene, when some addresses Lelouch as "your highness," highness should be capitalized and when Lelouch was he's the seventeenth in line for the throne, he should be saying the "Imperial" throne to point to the Britannian throne and not another one like the Moroccan throne. Have fun with the word count.

Я особенно люблю в Code geass то что Лелуш так ни с кем и не начал встречаться. Хотя в некоторых случаях отношения могут и выглядеть интересными. Это ведь не будет гарем?
