I love this chapter! I would like it if you continue this as an actual fanfic, though I really need to ask, is this abandoned? I would appreciate it if you’d at least tell us readers that you’ve just up and gone than just not updating for two years.

I love the chaos but would love some rhyme and reason to follow how far they are progressing in the story... what would be horrible is Harry, the Twins, Pippin and Merry would join forces to antagonize poor Aragorn/Rider.

I really love this story. I definitely like that Harry loves horses the way he does; it's not something I get to see often and I honestly wish it was used more. I think I agree with you that the more cracky chapters feel a bit more forced than, say this one. Maybe you could try writing this as a "regular" story and just hang on to several crack elements, like Harry's seeming randomness and his refusal to call most people by their names. Like instead of crack being the plot, the crack supplements the plot. Even if it's a plot as simple as Harry following the Fellowship, or more accurately Aragorn, and annoying the Hel out of them. I dunno really, s'why you're the writer, not me, but I hope this helps you come to a decision. Whatever you decide, I think I'll enjoy it either way.
