Very interesting story! I really like the idea of Harry initially hating Uma, and then falling under the spell of her forceful personality and wanting to follow her. You do a good job of showing the progression of their relationship and I'm glad you included Gil joining them.

Damn the Disney channel with their penchant for hiring actors with obscene amounts of sexual tension in EVERY SHOW... And then not having those two people actually BE together 90% of the time. Lol. This was fantastic. I loved the deeper look into the Isle. Mal's comment about 'gang violence' to Ben, instead of dating, in the first movie, had been so offhanded and she'd let it sound like a joke, but to a large degree, I'd guess it really wasn't.

This was a great way to flesh all that out in a way.

I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't find the first movie completely cheesy - as I've given up on Disney for SO many reasons - and I actually really liked it. The better budgeting showed in the second movie and even though I'd expected to like it, I was surprised that I only had two real complaints about what I wished had happened story-wise, but I can live with that. (Other than my issues with some editing continuity, most bothersome the very last scene, FML.)

But anyway, this was fantastic. I loved the exploration into the push and pull dynamics of these two with their issues of self-control and restraint that we for glimpses of, and a potential backstory that made made those two formidable partners. Amazing!

I want to cry. This is the best Huma I've read so far, and it was the appriopriate amount of dark that I've been searching for. I screeched when I read the last one, and the kiss? I'm dying. I'm still dying. Even now. I screenshotted it, and I was like: ughhhhhhh. This is so GOOOOOOOOOOOD. The whole thing was amazing, and I'm like sobbing bevause how can I read anything else now? XP Please, please, please write more. Or can you do one in Uma's perspective?

Seriously, they deserve more and more LOVE! This story is very well written and so so smooth! LOVE IT So, I really like how you write Uma and Harry's characters because they're badass and cool. Oh and my sweet boy, Gil too. I have a feeling when they take Gil in that it's like adopting a baby, as THEIR baby. And it's way too cute! I also love the marriage proposal here, very clever Harry, very clever. Thank you for this wonderful story, hon!
