Saying that it is OOC is both irrelevant (what is more important, that it is beautifully written or "faithful to the original) and incorrect (is it really impossible for Hachiman and others to develop this way in 10 years). In 10 years time the only thing we can say is that they will have to change, a lot, and be different, a lot, from what they are in high school. So, in a way, the only truly OOC stories are those that describe Hachiman as practically unchanged after 10 years. Because that is the only thing that can never happen. Therefore this story is truly faithful to the original and the fact that people change, and betray their dreams. Please, sir, we want some more. |
