there's one major flaw with your story. namely, Aerys killing James. even if he was crazy enough to do it, and no one had the balls to stop him, that still means he murdered a foreign king (ignoring why the hell a foreign king would be gallivanting around Westeros in the first place), if that's not an act of war, i don't know what is. there is no possible way that there wouldn't be a war between the two nations after that. none.

and that's ignoring the fact that James was a wizard and should have easily been able to escape from Aerys anytime he wanted. even taking Elia and Rhaenys with him in the process.

bit rough, but interesting. noticed a repeated typo though. you typed Vile, instead of Veil.
