| jpwood chapter 12 . 1/16/2018 Man where to start, so as for the story it was really good and you did a great job of stirring emotions with the written word. The case scene was epic so good job there. It goes without saying that Castle was way to forgiving, but I think you hit the nail on the head, she is who she is and he loved her for it so why sit and stew over it, the real show did a good job of showing this in the last season ( which people hated lol)... like it or not, they are who they are and they just fight to make it work. Part of me thinks that something like would have been tried if the show went on, I just cant see them totally killing Beckett off (glad they didn't) and you know, as much as I hate to admit this, they could have pulled this off if they had tried it in season 5 right after she was shot, it would have been dramatic TV... alas, we all know how Castle went and eventually declined... I digress... great little story |

I have to admit that I was a bit reluctant to read a story where I knew there would be pain for the people left behind even though we as readers knew Kate survived. Thank you for making that part mercifully short and bringing our favorite duo back together quickly and without too much angst. I am certainly glad for the happy ending. I hope you keep writing for Castle! |
