Kozue’s thoughts at the end contradict a piece of canon that already occurred, which is her having already dismissed her theory of Quantum Causality as something useless to her goal. That knowing the future won’t change anything because it was just meant to be, regardless of her choices. Her theory would have meant regardless of what she did the ending would be the same, she was basically relying on a miracle in Ryuu somehow changing fate.

Her thoughts indicate that she had been planning on her theory actually being correct before she believed in it. That this whole time she has been making a shot in the dark that something would come along and change things, and that she built up her resources in support of this idea she hadn’t actually proven. Ryuu is still unconfirmed as a conductor or an observer from what we know.

So either, “Keikaku/Just as Planned” or “I’m praying to forces I don’t believe, relying on methods I do not believe, that something changes.” That second plan doesn’t sound very much like Yuuko.

So much was unexpected things were revealed in this chapter. So Ryuu has mysterious ability to see quantum casuality. Almost like Takeru but unlike Takeru who directly influence the information, Ryuu can only see them. Almost like he can see the future.

I hope Takeru can regain his sanity quictly. It woulf be Tragedy if he killed his friends because he saw them as Beta.

Welcome back! I decided a while ago to be hold back on the majority of my comments until you finish this fight.
Knee-jerk reaction is that feels like it's dragging on a bit too long (8 chapters now?) but at the same time, I understand just how much else has been put into these chapters alongside the actual fight. It's probably just bias caused by the real-time delay between updates rather than the pacing of the story itself.
I do want to say that coming back to this story after all this time left me struggling to parse your formatting, and I'm not just talking about setting to 1/2 width paragraphs. For instance, trying to tell whether the second sentence in a person's text block is a thought or said out loud can be a bit challenging, and required me to reread a few passages, breaking story immersion. I know I got used to it previously, and there's no practical way to fix the confusion without going through and editing pretty much the entire fic, which isn't worth the effort, at least not before you actually finish the story. But I figure I should mention it now so you're aware of the issue for future reference.
Other than that, I believe "Minaru Kamui" is the name of Meiya's sword. I'd have to check to be certain, but I believe "Mugen Kidou" is the name of the style, which seems to be what you were actually going for. In which case, she already noticed his mastery of the style quite a while back. (Just checked, chapter 18 - Storm Brewing)

Well well well, look who is back. I didn't see your review saying that you weren't dead. So imagine my joy when I got the notification that ADVENT had updated. Granted I had to re-read the previous chapters to remember what was going on in this one. But still. It's nice to have you back. I'll probably wait a few chapters to review again, so I can get a comprehensive feel for the story again. But seriously welcome back and I hope this year treats you better than the last.

Was going to wait until you posted your next chapter to welcome you back, but I figured I'd make a quick post so you know that there ARE surviving readers out here. I'll admit, after the way your update frequency petered out, I assumed this fic had joined the graveyard of all the others who lost their passion and covered with some variation of the excuse 'real life got in the way'. With all sincerity I look forward to being proven wrong.

To any surviving readers, I'd just like to let you know the story is still alive! My 2019 was an emotionally charged, wild roller coaster ride, to say the least about my hiatus.

From here, I plan to revisit the story from the beginning (this will be the last time, fingers crossed!) just to place myself back in the mindset. I've already gone through a few chapters, and so far, it has involved editing the odd word or phrase here and there. It sucks, yet the edits I've made are necessary, as I find that there are a few occasions when what I'd meant to say hadn't been properly reflected in my writing (in fact, it's hella impossible to 100% accurately put into words what you really mean, or is that just me?). Reading my story again with cold eyes hopefully helps me get one step closer to my original thoughts.

So the chapters are gonna be a little different, although the overall storyline isn't gonna change.

Anyhow.

I'll get to it then.

I don't have much to say since this arc and whatnot is still on-going. However the inclusion of their call signs and who it is at the start of the story was very helpful. So much so that I would suggest going back and adding it to the other chapters that have them responding with their calls signs. And for any future fighting chapters as well.

I feel like you should really get things on track. The fact that every character has ADHD has become painful to read because things are happening so slow. The fact that they will constantly restate or repeat the same lines, ideas or concepts makes it so much worse.

I don’t want to be that guy but I think it’s time for action not words. Or introspection, in any case.
