Let's see given that ToCS4 is releasing in October, and assuming it takes you a month to beat that/watch a let's play, and assuming that that captures your attention and gets you interested in writing for this fandom, I give it until January that you update.

Finally finished. It was a fun ride. I enjoy Rean's dynamic with most of the class members. Glad you put in Thomas in the last chapter, the twist with him in the games is so good. Anyway, hopefully one day you pick this back up. Would like to see their next field study in action.

When this story reaches CS2 a way you could handle the secondary contractor thing is have the secondary contractor be in valimar with rean basically standing behind reans chair based on how it looks it seems there's enough space

So I've been replaying cold Steel 3 and I have a suggestion introduce musse/mildine( my fav member of new class 7) during old class 7 time at Saint astraias during trails 1 and she is extremely flirty to rean tho that's just to get a rise out of Elise and as alfin and Elise said in trails 3 musses always been like that tho at the time of trails 1 she'd still be going by mildine

I'm curious but are you gonna add in cold Steel 3s story but obviously keep the relationship rean has with chosen girl since you can't import save from 2 sadly so it basically erases the relationship formed in my case reans I love you to Emma

I would of liked to see how my reans relationship with Emma progressed and how they interacted in 3 and during my playthrough of 3 Emma actually had competition with musse I got both characters final bonding events and when I play 4 I'm fully planning on going Emma route

Now that's a fitting way to show that it's summertime (in this story) with Class VII doing swimming classes at the start of this chapter. Neat way Rean put some of his Second Form training while he's swimming.

Fie shares the same idea as me when Rean said the words that jinxed their next field study. xD

Nice bonding moment between Rean & Gaius before they met up with Towa.

It's nice to know that Fie & Laura tried to help Rean with you-know-what. It helped them understand that Rean had suicidal thoughts (when he was little) and found out his 'power' comes from something in his heart.

After leaving Sara (and Neithardt) with Thomas, I'm expecting Sara to find some way to manipulate Rean again as payback. While it's a 50/50 on that happening, Rean might've jinxed himself by talking about it with Fie & Laura. xD

You should have made an omake of Rean's wacky attempts to learn about or get rid of his powers.
