It never ceases to amaze me that there are idiots out there (or I guess I should say out here) that think it's perfectly all right to pass judgement on someone else's work after only reading one chapter and obviously NOT reading the brief intro summary. Anyone reading the intro summary would have a feel for what the story entails, and anyone reading the story itself would know everything you explained in your last author note without having it explained that way, as this is in part what the story is about. This story has been a delight in it's slow unfurling of plot and situation, and while I want to beat their heads in for their obtuseness sometimes I have enjoyed the journey. I look forward to the ending, and hope you find it in you to write more for this universe and pairing in the future. Thank you for writing.

I would just like to say that I think your story is wonderful so far. I normally don't read many that are too angsty but I have enjoyed this one. Also, people do change and (in my opinion, being 47) that we are/were children until around 25 or so. I know my way of thinking has changed from that age to now so why wouldn't anyone else's? Being an adult when the books/movies came out, I enjoyed them but I have fanfiction much more satisfying. If anyone can't see that 16-17 yr olds are still kids then they should spend some time with that age group. with open eyes. :) Anyway, I think you're doing great and appreciate you sharing your version of the HP world with us! Thank you!

I enjoyed so much the HP books when I read them the first time many years ago. I remember being in line outside the bookstore just to buy the new release. However, after these many years my opinion on the books have changed, I still love them, but as I’ve become a full grownup with kids on my own I believe more than ever in personal growth and change. Nothing is black or white in real life, and I like to believe that the same applies to my favorite HP books and their characters. This is why I really enjoyed reading your story. Yes it is angtsy, but after what the characters went through in the series and at such young age, it is only logical what you write. And you wrote it so well. Sorry for my long comment. And congrats for your fantastic story.

Ah I’m sorry that that reviewer didn’t understand your story. Or FanFiction generally it sounds like. The beauty of the world is that we’re all different, however I know how frustrating other illogical opinions can be!

Revenge on Rita Skeeter again? I always look forward to how people writing new revenge on Rita.

I have read countless of fanfiction where the line "You're Just a child." or something similar to it where is just becomes numb in my head. I don't know why it should matter in a world where Harry Potter is basically Wizarding Jesus and all the teenagers did things while the adults didn't. Like an 11 year old gets a stick and can learn basically learn spells that can you know kill people. And what Draco was what 16? 17? I think he should be pretty aware of his actions and consequences. I dislike the thought that Draco didn't have a choice when their is magic that can let you teleport anywhere. If Draco is a coward to run then he should accept the consequences. And did Hermione kill people? why is her hands dirtier what did she do so wrong? "Oh yes racist psycho killers who are trying to murder me, I am just like them." The story just seems unnecessarily angsty and sad. I'm sorry not reading this.

I’m only 4 chapters in and I’m kind of crying...The emotion written into the story is truly astounding. The way you illustrate the pain that not just Draco is going through, but also Hermione, and any other character. It’s just amazing. Loving the story so far!

Wow I just discovered this story today and your writing is so beautiful. I cried so many times reading this, both happy and sad tears. This story is exquisite.

Yay at last! Boy have they had ups and downs! I get the feeling there's one more battle to go before the happy ending. Thank goodness for Fawkes. And thank you for promising to finish this story. It's really awful when an author abandons a story, so a promise to finish is like gold. It's been a wonderful rollercoaster so far, looking forward to the end.
