So I was wondering... I had an idea off your Akari fic. I had an idea that Shredder had killed Karai and afterward would be the after math. Basically, I'm not asking u to write this, I just had an idea that I wrote.
(Here it goes.) (Backstory: Karai gets the idea to go after Shredder and Leo and Raph follow to try and stop her. Raph: because they got closer as sibling in the past months and Leo: because he doesn't want to lose another sibling to Shredder. So they get to his lair, they fight and Shredder is about to kill Raph. Karai shoves him out of the way, and Shredder kills her. Raph breaks down knowing he lost another sibling and Leo also breaks down knowing that he couldn't save her.) So my actual idea begins with Leo in a puddle of guilt the day after. They just came back from Karai's funeral which Shini had attended saying a parting. "... There are so many things I could say to you, like 'I'm sorry' but I know it won't bring you back. I had a long time to fix our broken friendship but I chose not to. I hate the fact the damage is permant." Anyway as Leo falls deeper into guilt the ghost of Karai comes to talk to him. Except she looks like 17 yrs old. Because that was when she truly stopped living. She tells Leo to stop blaming himself because he wasn't the one who sent a blade through her chest. Leo of course is skeptical and asks how she is even there. She tells him she spent enough time meditating and her spirt reached a high plane of existence. Leo then questions her of she saw Mikey or Splinter and she tell him that she is a restless spirt and they are at peace. Leo asks her what death is like and she replies it was the same of being alive, lonely. Changing the subject, Leo asks her what she wants (because she is a restless spirt and is haunting him) and if she wants him to go on a revenge rampage to avenge her death. She replies that she learned her lesson on revenge, and that she wishes it didn't have to come at the price of a life. She then tells him that she wants him to start loving and living. She says "I want you to begin living again, Leo. You made me believe in parts of myself I refused to believe in. You helped guide me to something better. Let me do the same for you. For thirty years you've been the Serphant. That isn't you. That is the Leo that is hurt and doesn't know how to deal with it. Start living like tomrrow is you last day on earth. Live because you can. Don't waste your life on pointless things like revenge otherwise you could end up like me or like Shredder. Please, Leo, please live your life to the fullest."

Sorry if that was hard to follow; its basically Leo having a moment of clarity with the ghost of his sister. Anyway I just wanted to share that with you.

I was reeeeeealllly laughing and crying and then laughing again when I first read it - reading it reeeeeealllly quick because my time was counted -, because there is humour in this like "So, I was reading this book, it's called Romeo and Juliet", and then the other one says, "Oh, and what do you think of it?" And you expect something like 'oh, it was pretty good' and yadayada, but then you get "Boring." And you are like LOL XD XD XD

Five: Something small but significant: "the YOUNG couple". I don't know if you're aware that "young" (at least in my country) is referred to people or mutants or monsters with LESS than 21 years, and Xever actually is 22, which means, he's officially an adult, and YES, I DID find that out because I was studying his character in the TMNT 2012 forum (LOL)
But then again, although Raph is still 15 (7 freaking years younger than her lover daaaaamn), I believe you cannot say it's a young 'couple' if one of them isn't going anymore.
(I told you to get ready muahahahahaha)

But then again, I'm NOT telling you "Exclude this "young couple" from your story!", No, I'm just saying something okay?

THAT'S MY CUE
You know, have you ever heard that the tiniest changes in the past can completely change the future?
So.
Have you ever wondered why I made Raph a girl just so she could be friends with Xever?
Because Fem!Raph is sweeter than Male!Raph. She's more caring - because she'll be a mom -, she's more attentive and stuff, things that she express more than her male counterpart (I mean, he DOES express these too, but not as much as she does).
As there isn't much to tell about Xever's or Raph's past in the TMNT 2012 series, I made both universes a little scene that can change everything.
As everybody must know, Xever was an orphan Brazilian child, that grew up as a thief, and one day, he was caught stealing (something I don't remember) from the Shredder, and went to the jail. After that, Shredder freed him because he found his abilities useful to the Foot.

But (my part) before that happened...
Male Raph Universe:
When Xever was just a child, he accidentally fell inside the sewers. He tried to find a way out, but he couldn't. So, he heard steps. He turned back to see who else was there. Suddenly, he found himself standing in front of a giant turtle, with emerald green eyes, whom was staring at him. Xever - after realizing the turtle was no harm to him - then asked him if he knew how to leave that place.
The turtle, in its place, asked him if he didn't know how to leave the sewers.
Xever told him, "yes".
Ironically, the turtle began laughing. He began laughing at the human's miserable situation, instead of helping him.

And so Xever from TMNT 2012 developed a feeling of hate for the turtles.

(As I'm too lazy to make a story for Fem! Raph, I'll say long things short."

Raph, timid as she was, silently stepped back until he couldn't see her anymore. But soon she was back with some things (trash) and with these things Xever were able to reach his way out.
And so they became friends.

But you're probably wondering what the heck does this story has to do with the book?

So yeah. As Raph and Xever became friends, he thought "dude, Raph is a turtle and she's stuck in the underground. Hmm... Maybe I can give her something to make her know how our world is up here..."
So he stole a book from a random library and gave it to her, and she gave to her Dad and said something like "yo dad I found this shit somewhere, can ya read it for me?"

So yeah, that's basically how "The Little Mermaid" turned into Raph and Xever's childhood story.

I know exactly what you're going through right now. In 2015 i lost my cat, and both my grandparents. Within months of each other. It was a hard time that i didnt think i could get through. But i promise you will.
Remember to think of your needs right now. Help yourself get through this. If you have to take a break from writing, do so. Dont feel obligated to do anything. I pray for your family.

As for the story, it was a Shakespearean tragedy. Makes me wonder if Leo would still become the Serpent and slaughter Shredder in quite the same way.
