I read this recently and found it very enjoyable. Not enough fanfiction with Terra/Tina.

I agree that even though he is not truly a bad person, Natsu could use a metaphorical kick in the face about the possible consequences of his actions.

In Fairy Tail, magic can be learned by emplanting Lacrima - magic stones - in someone. In FFVI, magic can be learned by wielding Magicite -magic stones - that are the left behind remains of espers.
Woukd it be possible for Lucy/Terra to charge specific spells or magic types, and possibly make a hybrid Lacrima that one could wield and eventually master spells from?

And it is a truism that Kefka is the single scariest clown of all time! Not even the Joker has achieved omnipotence!

Um wow… you may want to reconsider sending the first chapter back to the beta reader cause he obviously missed some stuff in the very first paragraph… no offense, but this was a harder to read opening than your usual fics.

Oh… and making this the half that was the Esper makes Lucy’s future fights all the easier! Very few things are capable of fighting an Esper on even footing!

Kefka has the same face paint as the Joker (more or less), can he really do subtle?

It’s actually not that unusual for a Dragon to teach humans how to kill other Dragons… that is after all, in some versions of Final Fantasy how Dragoons are created.

I'm not a huge Fairy Tail fan, but I do adore "Terra in Black" (look that song up by the way, it's really good!), so of course I will love anything involving her. Plus, honestly... Terra would completely WRECK most of the enemies that Lucy was faced with from what I know.

Interesting story so far don’t see enough fanfiction with terra on this sight so always interesting to see another. Don’t know much bout fairy tail but like how it’s detailed enough that one can follow without being intimately familiar with the series. Look forward to more of this, also glad to see a character willing to say maybe those high class missions you want to do so bad are that way for a reason. A sense of caution tends to be lacking in main characters

I love what you have done with Lucy and I really can't wait to read more. Right now this is my favorite Fairy Tail crossover.

(Winces at the latest crazy stunt Natsu and Happy have pulled, by kidnapping Lucy to go on a S-classed Mission that Natsu had decided to 'take' off the guild's noticeboard for the more dangerous missions without either getting permission from the master first or asking to join a S-class mage for one of their missions, just because she didn't want to come along with them willingly and had also been pointing out that this quest might be a bit too much for them to handle all on their own, without the proper level of backup and/or skills needed [not to mention she's only just joined up, so breaking what little rules Fairy Tail has could get her in serious trouble], simply because he has a burning desire to display his own 'skill and power' for the rest of the guild to see...)

Yeah, those two are not doing themselves any favours here, especially Natsu (Happy here has just been following along for the ride, due to the fact that no-body has ever been really able to successfully rein Natsu's reckless attitude in [at least not enough to make it stick properly outside of certain situations] and Happy has grown up thinking that this attitude and behavior is totally normal, without any moderating influences)!

Sure, Natu's extremely good in situations where you need to bring very large amounts of brute force to bear down on the objective and also don't have to worry about doing too much collateral damage while this happens... But those tasks which might require the use of a more delicate touch? Yeah, these situations normally don't end very well for hotheaded people (both in real life and on the bad guy's side), but the pure dumb luck that most heroic protagonists in stories of this nature tend to have usually ends up saving their bacon, with almost all of the potential negative consequences either being brushed off entirely, downgraded to the point where it's now only a minor slap on the wrist for them (so they don't end up learning not to do something that dumb again), or the worst effects get stuck to someone who is less fortunate than the 'hero'.

And while cannon Lucy was certainly a little bratty at times, having all those memories of her past life as Terra has certainly helped her out, with regards her maturity levels! Not only does she have a wider range of skills to cover almost any situation she might encounter on her jobs for Fairy Tail, she also knows exactly what her current limits are and when pushing herself too far beyond these limits would potentially be a really bad idea... It is too bad Natsu has never learned that vital lesson before this point in time, but then again, what possible reason would Natsu have to consider changing his ways, given how his dumb luck usually takes care of all of the pesky fallout that results from his actions? But I'm getting the funny feeling that his free ride is just about to come to an end now, thanks to Lucy not letting him get away with all his stunts quite so easily.

After all, this time around, not only did he take a S-class quest without permission, he has ended up kidnapping a unwilling person (right from their own home no less) and also did the exact same thing to Gray, even if Gray did end up eventually agreeing to help out willingly in the original timeline (once he'd learnt what the quest details were all about), in order to bring them along on the quest (despite her having said several times that she was just not interested in taking part in the quest and was even trying to talk him out of his dumb plan)! That part with Lucy, more than anything else, will be something that is going to really reflect badly on his overall maturity and just what the other guild members think of him (and not in the way that Natsu was hoping for)...

Maybe, instead of the body swap punishment that usually happens after this mission, Markov could both ban Natsu from taking the exam to promote to S rank for a couple of years (with good behaviour reducing his sentence and any reckless actions pushing out his ban out even further, with only the current Guild Master being able to decide if he has actually learnt his lesson on this matter) and also being selected as a potential team-mate by those people who are actually taking the test; maybe even banning him from every mission that goes beyond a certain distance from Magnolia (with a spell to help enforce this punishment and prevent him and Happy from simply sneaking off by themselves)? After all, while Natsu doesn't really seem to care that much about those things that other people would consider to be fairly important, denying him his ability to publically prove his personal power or to freely hunt for Igneel (the two major goals that he has) might help to drive the message home that his actions have gone too far.

All in all, this certainly seems like a very interesting story so far and I look forward to seeing just how it will go from this point onwards, given that things really seem to be going off the beaten path of canon events (might also PM you to have a little chat too)!
