Ah yeah you gotta try the nade launcher. Shoots blight nades. If you hit the ground or kill something with it it creates a big circle of damage chip blight. It stacks a lil and is awesome. Add more for grenade reload speed and special ammo finder and you could log a shot with each jump.

Was Dusk owned by a previous guardian like with Shin Malphur? Is that why Acker can remember bits of his past through resurrection? Is there another in game canon reason you plan on using to explain why Acker stands out from a normal guardian? I understand that very powerful guardians can use multiple types of Light. Is there a reason why Acker evolved so quickly besides being the main player character, except that ghost is dead, sorry Dinklebot/Nolandriod! I guess you plan on making Acker the Young Wolf right? This is getting a little too epic. Please take care of yourself before coming back to this and I really hope you do come back to this! Mental Health can be taken care of with medication and therapy! Try sticking to a schedule and mediate in the morning! I do that to motivate myself for the day! Also, awesome side characters! I don’t know why but this story always gets me pumped for some reason!

Are you planning on reviving this story? Is the Last Hand on the same timeline as this story? Are you waiting for destiny lore to actually make more sense before jumping back in because I can understand why since destiny’s backstory is not very easy to understand anyways. However, there are multiple lore whores who are very helpful when coming to understand Destiny’s story such as myself though I recommend sources like BYF or Reddit when it comes to sorting out the Ishtar Collective Grimoire Cards. The reason I like this story so much is because I don’t like how the canon player character has no backstory, and I really like this backstory being tied back with Cayde since he was the only Guardian who actually made me laugh, all the other ones are extremely static. The next interesting character is Mara Sov, but since Cayde won’t die in this one, I’m holding out hope for this story’s return as well. If it helps, you should just focus on Destiny 1 Lore before jumping to Destiny 2, to at least keep the story going but without getting big down by the incoming material. I know you said you were a hobbyist writer, but you really hit the nail with this fic, so here’s hoping you decide to return to this story in the future, fingers crossed! Of course, no pressure and make sure you’re mentally prepared before coming back to this awesome story!

Well it seems like you’ve established Ace as the Guardian we all know and love, do more powerful guardians have the ability to switch between Light Types? Something like it takes a couple of centuries to reach that point, but Ace pretty much accomplished this within a few years? Does his memories have anything to do with this?

This was a short but very good chapter. I love the introduction of Sundance and Cayde too! Looking forward to whats next :)
