I love how Kairi got to be more involved and active in the final parts of KH2, that was great. And I love how she helps bring Aqua home; that really did justice to their bond (especially throughout this story).

Anyway, congrats on finishing the story! It's been fun going on this journey to imagine what it might've looked like if Kairi had started fighting earlier in the story. Best of luck on your future writing ventures!

Glad to see you updated this fic! I like how Kairi's getting to show off her training and skills, and how you're drawing on the details you've included in other parts of the story in this chapter. She gets to be more involved in the story too, and we get to see her thoughts, which is nice. I also like how Naminé is more involved, too.

Nice job tying the elements of your story with canon together in this chapter! I thought Sora's voice came through well in particular in the scene from his POV. I also really liked how you tied Kairi's jewelry into each of the people she has a close connection with. It'd be cool if the games did the same.

And yes it is sad Deep Jungle was only ever in KH1... so it's nice to see a cameo for it here.

Kairi has keyblade armor so she doesn't even need the starshard and this is suppose to be an au so Yen Sid could have helped

This was a really good chapter! I could picture the battle clearly in my head, and yes it's too bad we never got to see Kairi fight Axel. Glad that she put up more of a fight here than in canon, though that's to be expected since she's had training in this story.

Great job! That fight scene was awesome! This fanfic really is what should have been done with Kairi all along.

Interesting approach to Pluto. Describing things by appearance and scent makes sense given that he’s a dog, and thus cannot perceive on the same level as even an infant.

As to your question about who Kairi should fight... if you are going to write all the way to the end of KH2, put her in the fight with Xemnas alongside Sora and Riku. You would have to separate them afterwards of course, but I would love to see the Destiny Islands trio fight together. Also, if canon allows (I forget when Kairi is freed) have her fight Saix alongside Sora, for the sake of revenge.

Marvelous work my friend! This is precisely what the boys at Disney and Square Enix should have done with Kairi’s character, but alas, they are only human, and so it falls to us to fill in the gaps in their logic.

This Kairi is a great improvement over the current version, but I assume that will be subject to change with Kingdom Hearts 3. My only advice is that you limit the time our main trio spends dancing around each other, and introduce Sora to the new Kairi very soon.
