Your writing is absolutely AMAZING! Just love the simple yet deep and emotional language you use to write about Alucard and Maria. Please keep up the awesome works...

Have you perhaps posted this before? I swear I have read this once before, and I enjoyed it very much then as I did now Alucard, or Adrian to his friends, has always been one of my favourite characters in the Castlevania series for his background and powers. I am happy that he has a friend like Maria!

I've read several of your works, and I must say your work is quite good. I can only imagine your published works are just as good, judging by the quality of your fan fiction.

As for this story, I really like it. After playing through Symphony again, I could see little moments where Alucard has a hard time opening up to Maria, and I like that it ends with him beginning to open himself up to her. Considering his lineage to say nothing of witnessing humanity at its worst when they killed his mother, it's very appropriate. I also had to laugh at the interactions between Maria and Annette at the beginning. Her snorting and Annette correcting her was, in my opinion, just so funny.

And despite the situation, I also found her tactic of distracting Alucard also funny, one of those 'made you look' moments. The son of Dracula falling for the oldest trick in the book. I know I shouldn't, but I have to snicker at that.

In terms of writing, this is solid. My one critique is a minor one, when you said she moved around to be at a better 'angel.' It's 'angle.' Like I said, just a minor issue. I do that sort of thing all the time.

Great piece here, though I've enjoyed everything of yours I've read, especially Birth, but here is not the place to discuss other stories. Your talent is evident; that much is true.

Short, sweet and awesome!
The dynamic contrast the couple has is very interesting (kind of like opposites attract): Maria being an outgoing and open type of person but then you have Alucard who is a reserved man that Maria herself said in SOTN that didn't speak much, followed by Alucard's affirmation "...". I can understand her fascination with him (I would probably be tailing him to, haha :D), because again she knows very little of him other than he's kind and again, reserved. I do like that ending, Maria probably grinned from ear to ear once he told her his true name.
Lovely work and I really enjoyed the interview on your blog! :D
