Telling Mordred the prophecy could make him understand, and not go with Morgana, because Merlin, Gilli and Gaius could stop Arthur executing Kara, and then that part of the prophecy would become null and void! This is a really interesting take. I honestly thought that Mordred was innocent for most of the series and Merlin’s coldness is what ultimately led to Mordred being Athur’s Bane. Please update soon.

I've always found it frustrating that Merlin never told Mordred about the prophesy. I think he contributed to driving Mordred to fulfil it.

I hope Gilli and Merlin can work together to help Mordred change his destiny.

there are definitely not enough fanfic with Gilly even though he is practically Merlins only sorcerer friend (his age)
also, i really love Mordred (especially in storys like these, where he might stay good( because I totally fault merlin for Mordred))
