Part one of this story was so good, I can’t wait to read the rest! I’m really looking forward to all the Avengers pitching in to help Steve raise Star and James and all the team bonding that will come with it. It’ll be especially interesting to see Thor’s reaction to the newly adopted children once he returns to earth

Have we made it this far already? This story has been such a joy to read, and I've just fallen in love with Star and JJ. Everything in this chapter is wonderful and I love it all.

Steve! Prioritizing Star and being so protective, but also controlling his reactions for her sake! ALL the adults loving Star and being protective of her! Found family is gold and this story is made of it.

But then Star's reaction to not having a "mission" is so sad! Like, baby girl, nothing. You just live ok? Just be a kid and have fun?

And while I'm thrilled a Part 2 is in the works... Dr. Miller got away and that doesn't seem to be ominous at *all* ... :/

Really enjoying this story. Please consider adding in the X-men universe. I'd really love to see the interactions between Star and Laura/X23. Doubly so if it's the movie version and the kids/clones from the movie came back in time somehow.
Other question is; are you going to continue part 2 in this story, or complete this one and start a separate one for the sequel [I'd like to add this to my community]?

STOP THE FAM FEELS GOT ME! Truly went awwwwhhhh when Star slept in Steve's bed, then when Star greeted Steve when he got back. Ugh love me some fam feels. Also Star's blatant misunderstanding that holding a doctor hostage would end up on the news I love it. I love her ugh she's perfect. But omg? Hydra is gone? Mission over? What WILL they do next? ? ? I can't wait to see! Great chapter bb thank you for writing it!

I love seeing Steve being so parental with Star here. It's just a great mix of "what you did was reckless and could have gotten you killed" with "I'm glad your alive and also secretly kind of proud of you". (Also, like Steve hasn't done stuff at least that reckless in his life.) I also found Star's "well, it worked, didn't it?" justifications kind of amusing. She's going to be a handful, isn't she? Also, that was a very interesting way to end the chapter, with kind of a "okay, I'm glad everything's okay, but where do we go from here?" It occurs to me that Star's life so far has always been about the mission, and it'll be interesting to see her try to adapt to everyday life. (Honestly, it's kind of like the issues that Steve has to deal with, just with a much younger person)

omgggggggg! star being a little emotional? hugging steve? being worried about bucky? and don't even get me STARTED on steve choosing the kids because he needs to protect them even if it means giving up on bucky ugh! as you know bucky is my fave and the way you've added him in here just breaks my heart but also fuels me? anyway i love a found family and star and steve and jj are one and this is brilliant thank you love you bye
