| ScribeofHeroes chapter 1 . 6/14/2019 Awesome! I love this. I'm not familiar with this character. I love her even though she seems bad. I'd say she's not mad and more logical than all the other villains, but she ends up doing what she knows is the definition of madness as she lays out at the beginning of this story, which is delicious irony. :) Also, every one seems in character though the characters change believably as she changes history and yet not really, not the way she wants it too. History seems to be fighting against her or maybe someone "reeeeeally" had it out for the Waynes. I also love the line "And while any heroes who caught wind of it might have reservations , "Mission: Make Sure Batman's Parents Stay Dead" wasn't something she saw a lot of heroes signing up for." That is so true. So anyway, I love this story. I love how a "villain" ends up creating Batman over and over again in this entirely new way. Speculating whether the timeline itself is fighting to create Batman or someone just "reeeeeeally" wanted the Waynes dead is interesting, but at the end of the day the way irony drips from the story as this hero/villain tries "madly" to accomplish her goal while continually not is story gold. This is a genuinely funny story and I wouldn't mind seeing more if you were so inclined. On another note, I wonder when she'll figure out she's not quite as villainous as she thinks she is. Going on, her pragmatic characterization is refreshing and endearing in light of her frustration. |
