Hey I loved this story! I can't wait for the sequel. Can I ask something about Rey, is she autistic? I only ask because she has a lot of the symptoms cos I also have autism and I see the similarities: the aversion to touch, the difficulty in showing emotion visibly, specific interests, liking things in a certain way, not liking sudden change and not picking up on social queues among a few things. Just wondering.

Ok, so having binged read this entire thing, I'm ready to leave my thoughts, in a big wall of text. ( I always like seeing those kind of reviews)

When I started the story, I wasn't to certain I would stick with it, the 'jumping' aspect was offputting, especially as it left me with little to no linear story line to match up with cannon, but having finished the story, that might be one of my favourite parts. The confusion slowly paving way for understand, such a process is, to me atleast, one of the best parts of a story. I know thatthis aspect has more to offer, and I look forward to that wholeheartedly.

As for the relations between Ray and supporting cast, I kind of sympathise with Ray, on an emotional level. It clarifies how I interact with people, and even deal with my emotions, not perfectly, but more than enough for me to relate and bond with the character. As for the interpersonal connections between Ray and supporting cast, it is difficult to tell with the jumping, but using Ray as a baseline, it has a natural feel to it, a very hard thing to do with stories it seems, and again, it is a part I like.

It would not be a proper review if I did not mention what I disliked, and how I think it can be improved, so here it is. I did not paticularly enjoy the area's where Ray had knowledge (that was solely given to her by other characters, that the audiance had no way of knowing) and only explaining the possession of such knowledge after. Were the explaination during or before then I would have no issue with it. Also regard POV switches, yes I know it is mainly a 3rd person story, but for where the scene changes or a POV changes, some form of notation would not go amiss, say like a linebreak, or something similar.

I'm not going to touch upon the ethical bounderies of the Nevermore insititute, for 2 reasons. 1) I like the idea of darkness, the darker the better, and the more emotionally stricking and crippling even more better, and B) I don't paticuarly bother with ethics in stories (in University or work I do, because...life) Every character has their own ethics and morals, and to confine all characters to just one set would seem massively narcissistic and arrogant.

Honestly I cannot wait for the new story, and for the odyssey to continue. You have my best wishes and a demand for quick updates.

So the Madame that Rey mentioned is Madame Kovarian. Interesting, I had a feeling she was. Please post the sequel soon, I'm eager to read more of Rey's story.

I had been wondering how you were going to do this episode and I am not disappointed. It was brilliantly done. I like how you did the Doctor's thoughts and feelings at the end. So many differences from the original episode. The Doctor got his first kiss with Rey and she probably won't remember it. Very much looking forward to the Christmas Invasion, please post it soon.

It is really sweet how protective of Rey the Doctor is. I like that Rey has a garden in the TARDIS. Poor Rey felt guilty for not being able to get to Rose fast enough but at least they know she is still alive. I love that the Doctor's first reaction to finding this out was to hug Rey and swinging her around.

So the Doctor has told Rey what he called when he was a child on Gallifrey, cool. River Song certainly is confusing, she yells Rey to stay at Nevermore but then talks to the Doctor about saving her. The Doctor must have heard when Rey said to River about River being in love with the Doctor as he knew about the TARDIS door trick. I wonder what warning River have the Doctor to get him to trust her. Definitely looking forward to more chapters with River Song so that the mystery between her and Rey makes sense.

River Song definitely doesn't like Rey does she and something tells it's more than the fact that they both have feelings for the Doctor (despite what Rey thinks about her own). Also Donna was seriously implying that the Doctor and Rey are in a relationship. I love how protective Donna is of Rey.

It's so sweet that Rey thinks her feelings for the Doctor are only a small crush that will disappear over time. The Doctor is very fond of rubbing circles in Rey's wrist to sooth her and possibly himself.

Another brilliant chapter, I feel sorry for Rey having to go back to nevermore every so often. I wonder what the Doctor was going to say to Rory when they were discussing Any kissing the Doctor. I can only imagine that the Doctor calling himself Rey's boy has confused Rey.

I wonder what the Doctor was going to tell Rey when he was scared that he was going to regenerate, if I had to make a guess it would be something along the lines of I love you. I see what you mean about one step forward and half a step back when it comes to Rey and her feelings.

I absolutely love this story!

ooh boy. wonder how the next bit is going to go. can't wait to find out. i'm super excited to read more :)
