YES! I'm so excited for this story! The idea of Kagome and Inuyasha meeting in the future instead of the past always seemed like it had a lot of potential. I mean, it's canon that there are still demons/spirits (though they're either invisible or dormant). I'm still kind of bummed more shard hunting didn't occur there (another thing to blame on Naraku I guess).

And I 100% agree about the rosary usage. I feel like it was more used as a way to diffuse tension if Inuyasha said something rude (in the manga), but that didn't stop it from feeling like a running gag that should have been axed early on (maybe have Kagome remove it after one of the more serious battles). It felt so out of place in the epilogue chapter.

Anyways, hope you have fun writing this! I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I just have one question so far: Obviously the Shikon Jewel wasn't burned due to Kikyo being unable to tell Kaede to do so, but why didn't Naraku just take the Jewel from Kaede by force shortly after Kikyo died?
