RE to your RE to methyl: I strongly disagree. You bring up how she keeps getting left behind... what do you expect? The crux of the story is that Naruto and Sasuke are the reincarnations of Asura and Indra, in other words they are the ACTUAL main characters. Their powers stem from that reincarnation nonsense, granted strength from a mythical ancient being and other buffs like the kyūbi or the sharingan. Sakura is just a civilian. As far as strong characters go, she shits all over many powerful men in the series so I have no idea what you’re complaining about. As far as her being a support character goes, her chosen profession is literally a medic ninja so I have no idea what you’re complaining about. As far as her losing fights goes, Naruto loses WAY more than her so I have no idea what you’re complaining about.

She was undeniably useless in the original series, not so much because she herself was THAT useless but because of who her teammates were and how shit a teacher Kakashi was... is. After she got training from Tsunade (ya know, a female who is considered one of the most powerful ninja to exist? What was it you said about Kishimoto not being able to write strong female characters?) she was actually better than Naruto by quite a margin. Obviously as the main character and one of the prophesied two, Naruto overtook her (let’s be honest here though, Naruto was WAY too weak in canon given his unique situation that makes him a walking cheat code), but she was still powerful and ended the story as one of the most powerful people in there. We can’t forget that without those support characters (I genuinely have no idea why people see that as a bad role for this very reason) the good side would never have won.

From what I can see YOU are the one looking down on Sakura’s character, getting offended over her ‘weakness’ while ignoring her very obvious strengths as though they aren’t worth mentioning.

Sad to see the story stop here at what was the best chapter with the Naruto Sakura parts aside i did enjoy the idea of Konan actually given a brain to understand Nagato had lost sight on the list goal of Yahiko which but i am not surprised as Kishimoto did have a problem writing woman

The Grave scene with Kushina was rather sad but well done and nice to see Tsunade and Kakashi step into the roles Naruto's parents had hoped they would of done in the first place...but never now than never after Naruto more or less saved both of them from drowning in their own guilt and regret

Still hope you have plans to continue this as you seem to have a well already plans a lot of story plot lines out in advance :/

This review is about the entire fic but I'll leave it in chapter 1 for potential readers.

My overall impression is that it is well done with clunky parts.

First, I'd like to weigh strongly against Upstart Psycho's review. Naruto's "superpower" is indeed to understand others. There is still a problem with his TnJ however, and it is its infallible ability to make antagonists turn coat. The systematic (YES, systematic, because in the end, even Sasuke was TnJ'ed) success of TnJ just proves that the antagonists' convictions were paper-thin. It's all good and well to try and convince people and it's indeed in Naruto's character to try and do so. However, sometimes, it SHOULD. NOT. WORK. Because that's also life: not being able to bring people to your views and that's something that, ultimately, Naruto NEVER had to deal with.

I believe that is what MindForgedMan meant when he said that "TnJ [woulb be] nerfed". Considering that, I do think Naruto's character was respected here even if he evolved slightly differently. He still tries to save Sasuke, still tries to talk to Kyuubi, etc, etc... I don't see how that disrespect the character.

Sakura is still Sakura but without the crush. It would have been interesting to address her proposal to betray with Sasuke at the end of part one. Whelp...

On to why I feel it's clunky at times.

Unneeded arc. Seriously, the Moryo thing? Remove it and you don't lose anything. That's bad. It means the chapter is empty.

Impossible bits of "fridge logic". Kisame was taken down by three jonins at most. 500 Iwa shinobis and a junchiriki were unable to kill him. Yeah, right.
Kabuto discovering the Chimera Guy. There are dozen upon dozen of bloodlines scattered across the elemental nations, the Chimera Huy could have attacked ANY OF THEM and somehow, Kabuto caught the Chimera Guy red-handed? Yeah, right.

Overall, 8 okay chapters (skip the Moryo mission). Best,

yeah Boruto is the biggest trash ever the only good think about this anime is Hokage naruto and Himawari

please don't abandon your story

Here’s my take. I think that while the intention was good, the execution was not. In trying to make Naruto more powerful in a combat sense, you completely missed who Naruto is. While I do agree with the destiny hypocrisy of the series and its shoehorned shipping, the whole point of Naruto was his remarkable ability to change people without violence when everyone else told him there was no other way to change people. If you look at the series as a whole, you’ll see that Naruto’s lowest points are when he either misdirects, misunderstands, or disregards his talk no jutsu entirely. His failures reflect his understanding of others. His TnJ didn’t work on Sasuke because he misunderstood and couldn’t truly connect with him. A lot of the first half of Shippuden was his journey back from misguidance and having his entire worldview shaken by Sasuke’s departure. The only person TnJ worked on before Nagato was Chiyo. So, for all the series flaws, I don’t think that giving more flashy jutsu and nerfing TnJ or Naruto innate goofiness/unpredictability was the appropriate fix.

The fight with sasori was good enough in canon. There was no need to add more ninjas on it. I think u made a mistake on that part.

My only problem with this story is that you've changed so much and yet the main story is the same. That seems pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I get it, but it still makes no sense.

Jiraiya boasted Naruto to be at least as good as if not better than Kakashi. So far I'm underwhelmed.
