As for the which of the wildcards is the physically strongest question, I believe that would be in the order of (strongest to weakest) Akira/Ren, Yu/Souji, and then Makoto/Minato. Though Makoto is the most diverse when it comes it weapons.

Though Persona wise, the order from strongest to weakest would be Makoto/Minato, Akira/Ren (who is tied with Tatsuya apparently) and then Yu/Souji.

Futaba for me. I found her Palace an extremely accurate and scary real-life depiction of depression, of how we shut ourselves away and don't ask for help despite knowing it would help us greatly. Her accepting the truth about her mother, creating the giant arrow, screaming FIRE and shooting her dead mother was one of the top moments of Persona 5.
Plus her character is even evaluated even further when we go through her Confidant and learned that Futaba getting a Persona didn't magically wish away her problems. She still has to face all of her anxiety and PTSD by herself which was inspiring and wanting to help Kana sweetened the deal. Plus her romance is just so wholesome and adorable I couldn't say no. Her need to be with Joker was because she fell in love with him and the ending with her wanting to stay by Joker's side and become his key item is just so sweet I got diabetes from it.

Even though Demiurge(Yaldabaoth) is strong, remember he is afterall only False God. Even though he said 'The Creator of All, Unparraled by Any' there is a clear way to defeat. That is for Izanami case too.

For Nyx, it is basically said She is impossible to defeat her, Igor can attest that. There is NO way to defeat it. And from the Orpheus poems, it is said Nyx is the first principle from which all creation emerges. To name few, Aether (brightness), Hemera (Day), Moros (doom), our favorite protagonist persona Thanatos(death),etc etc. She is the real goddest unlike False God Yaldabaoth. Basically her power is too high even for Minato the one who hold Universe Arcana which symbolized the new beginning or ultimate end that said 'able to defeat the one who cannot be defeated' can not defeat her. Heck, even Igor is shocked when Minato got Universe arcana.

The most powerful MC in Persona is Minato without question he fought a enemy that Akira wouldn’t be able to beat.

If you're going by weapons alone, Minato is the strongest physically. If you're going by actual stats, that depends on their ultimate Persona's Strength stat at level 99. If you're going by feats they've done, Minato no selled a bunch of would be damage dealing insta-kills, while Yu no selled instakill spells from a goddess who could be said to be primordial, and Akira's final Persona is essentially as tall as a skyscraper. They're all strong in their own way. Minato, though, had to sacrifice himself for his ultimate strength, though.
