Oh, man, the nutcracker part. That is sooo OG Erik! It's the exact brand of dark humor that makes me love reading Leroux over and over again.

These final two chapters were marvelously done. I really love the growth that we see here in Erik and Christine. I adore the conflict that you have created between the two of them and the fact that Erik has grown so much. I love that Christine is conflicted and feels comfortable enough to let Erik know that she is conflicted.

I really liked how slowly she started to creep into his space. And that she enjoys his smile and seeing him happy, and that means something to him. This story was just absolutely enchanting and I really enjoyed it. It still amazes me that this story was so short and yet I felt so connected to these characters and really cared about what happened to them. That is hard to achieve with a story so short. But you are Quiet after all…

I loved how organically and gently they grew closer in their time together. You just wrote those parts of their story in such a lovely way. I adored everything about this ending. It was perfection!

Oh, and I will make sure to put on my “Erik Don’ts” list…he hates the smell of Pine! Lol
