Nice chapter but I do have one recommendation. Disregarding me feeling towards Ranmyaku, you are relying on him too much, most problems are solved by, “let’s ask Ranmyaku“ that’s what I was scared about in the beginning. I also think Ranmyaku and Vampire King crash with each other in their functionality. They are both tutor like beings towards Finn, they both are mysterious big strong beings that act cool.
Also you use “sweatdrop” way too much, sometimes in situation that don’t really make sense.
Besides this, the stories is fine.

Is Ranmyaku a self-insert or a favorite Oc, he has some weird protagonist vibes I only see when one wants to make their protagonist cooler, It’s not detrimental to the story at all but I personally disliked the idea of a benevolent all powerful character that came out of the blue.

I personally don’t like the whole Ramioku thing, a god like being showing up out of nowhere and solving most of the problems ? It’s quite unclimatic

There are lots of hostilities, family history, and compromises in the beginning. But a glorious battle and sad death in the end.

Phoebe's family history is so mindblowing that it Finn fainted. And a lot more hostilities when it comes to Bonnibelles on her crimes with the Flame people including Finn's and a team-up, whether they like it or not for Marceline, Finn, PB, Phoebe, and others with Ranmayaku.

Well, at least they're going to work together to fight off the bigger evil that's coming on their way to the Candy Kingdom.

Simon's endurance and sacrifice would never be in vain as the battle begins!

Hunson held of Vlad, while the rest fights of the remaining enemies Grimoire and Gillum. Finn taps in his inner vampire powers and goes on a rampage and kills Grimoire but at a cost. FFK dies in a blaze of glory while defending his daughter and everyone from Gillum.

Demonga subdues Gillum until he explodes that would destroy the whole kingdom but Hunson absorbs all that to keep everyone safe.

Everyone is exhausted after that battle, especially Finn, Bonnie, and Marcy. Glad that Phoebe is watching over them, then she falls asleep with them as well.

But the war is not over as Vlad is calling from a cellphone. To a (mystery person) that we may never know.

Man what a story and it WICKED! hope to see the next chapter as Finn is truly becoming the King of Kings!
