Wew! Young Dick meeting the JL is ALWAYS soooo amusing! The first ever protege

Hi there! I adore the friendship between Bruce and Clark because they balance out the other personality wise and strength wise. I also like Clark as a sort-of uncle figure to Dick and the others. Him not agreeing with Bruce taking a teenage protege places that moral question on the board. It’s something we all question the rationale of. He verbally expresses it and then provides reasons why it does work. Bruce wouldn’t make this decision lightly, he wouldn’t pick just anybody, and who he has picked could be just right for him.

Ha, the nod to Bruce not liking anyone in his city without his permission is great. Even Superman can’t just fly in and say hello lol Bruce does not like sharing his city with heroes outside of it. Never could understand why he allowed so many to operate inside the city given his feelings but I guess long as you’re from Gotham it’s okay heh

Dick is wonderfully adorable here. Full of energy, outgoing, and just a bit more intuitive than Superman was expecting. He completely read that Bruce and him were talking about him and that Clark had reservations. Typical of Dick he asks Clark if he doesn’t approve, not because he overly cares if he doesn’t but because he confronts issues head on so they can be resolved. And knowing Superman thinks him an ideal partner is a boost to a boy’s ego ;)

Excellent! Bravo! I really love this. You captured Dick's personality perfectly! He comes across as so smart and self assured, so full of life. Characteristics that seem to have gotten lost a lot recently. And Clark's reaction is so genuine and still amusing. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my gosh I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before! It's so adorable! I LOVE the characterization of Bruce and Clark and their dialogue is perfect and hilarious, and the reveal of Dick is perfect, and just, everything about this is so well done! A gift to the fandom!

Oh, wow - this is just simply phenomenal. I don't know how you do it, but you manage to capture the essence of each character perfectly! Truly, this is just brilliant. The way you write through Superman's view is just great. I love the thought-process and the overall style of the story. This is one of my favorites for sure.
