No words can express how much I love this. 3 chapters in and I was crying of sadness and felt awful as I continued to read the story then the ending just made me flip around and now im crying of joy. At first I thought Emile was just gonna stay dead and Gabriel would just fix his relationship with his son, and i felt fine with that. That seemed like a proper ending. But that last line just broke my heart in a good way. Like I felt so unbelievably happy. That was such a beautiful ending. And its sooo well you for this, i feel soo happpyyyyy.

This was very well written and well done. I really like your unique take on this Christmas classic :)

Ah, found the missing chapter I forgot to review :) I love it! I love how you're systematically destroying Gabriel to make him a better person. The shocks don't stop coming and let's hope at the end of the night it's enough to reset his heart into a normal one :)
