When I was reading this I imagined it to be Soul and Maka from Soul Eater. Its just... So into their character too. It can actually be them.. Ya know without the kwamis. Anyway what I'm trying to say is this is beautiful. I'm completely fallen for this. Great job!

There are many wonderful things here that stood out. First is your ever-present style that to this day still amazes me; second is how well you wrote in general, and third is the emotion that Adrien shows.

The last thing is what I loved the most because of his phrase [It was only now that Adrien truly realized what he'd given up.] and how it can happen to any of us during our lives. I'm really glad that it worked out for him. His motivation (besides Marinette) to become a reaper, his *wish* to do something meaningful even if he's not alive anymore, are just like Adrien is. I loved him here, and I adore you for writing this for me :D
