I have a mental image of Christy going down hard due to Emma obliterating her mental shields and Christy's students going on the warpath.

I'm sure absolutely nothing will go wrong with Annie off by herself with the spy and the growing pile of misunderstandings.

OH wow can't believe I missed the signs in chapter 1 that Christy was having memory problems. Or at least, I failed to realize what the signs meant. That's concerning. Either a victim of a mutant with mental powers or her own mutant ability is weird as heck? Looking forward to how that shakes out.

After years of this being one of my top 5 fanfictions in any genre, I just realized a detail that I missed. In chapter 30, when Christy accompanies the X-Men on that mission, we are told that the adult leader of the child mutant criminal ring got a phone call warning him that he was about to be busted, but we never learn any more.

Now think about this... there was no leak, but there was enough warning for the leader to devise a bomb. There is only one explanationprecognition. Now consider that Christy defending the Blackbird from the bomber gained her credibility at a time when faith in her was weak, leading to Xavier arranging for Christy's tutor. What if... it was a warning from Destiny, meant specifically cause Xavier to activate Mystique. Why? Because Christy being with Mystique led to a better future for Destiny's true love

Bad: "breaking an entry"
Good: "breaking and entering"

"error on the side of paranoia" "err on the side of paranoia"

Its a small correction, but a story this good shouldn't have grammar errors to divert the attention of the reader away from it.

This is my read through of any of your work, and I'm enjoying it thus far. I'd recommend it so far.

The story got a lot better, even if it is somewhat amusing that the mutants think only fellow mutants have a right to mental privacy.

I hate how cavalier they are all about the utter Mindrape Emma is doing, that Emma and Jean have been doing this whole time. These two are showing as prime examples of why most of Humanity hates Mutants. They're giving them a right to hate them.
