This is one of the best Fan Fictions I've read. Now that Mike believes her, how are they going to prove that she was brainwashed and innocent of killing Hopper?

I'm so angry. Why did these people do this to them?! I can't help but feel like they are too damaged now to be "Mike and Eleven". How can you go back from believing someone doesn't love you anymore, that the person you love was getting fucked in front of you, that the person you thought killed her own father tells you to stay away from her even though you still loved her after all those things to hating her for fours and now loving her?! I believe true love always wins but how can they move forward after all of that? Even now knowing she was innocent this whole time and she was just brainwashed, how do you forget that pain? How will she ever look at herself and not see the memory of the pain she caused due to Howard & Ford? How?

There's something about this story that gets me heaps excited to finish every sentence you write, good job!

Another gripping chapter! I'm glad you're back! I have to concur that "Mike and Eleven, and Stranger Things in general, are good for the soul." and it's looking like I'm going to be doing some traveling around Christmas time this year, too. I might have mentioned before that there was a "Mileven-esque" situation involved in my own life, with an aspect similar to "353 days" involved for a while. Not only was the long lapse of communication resolved, but we're talking about a visit (she's in Florida now, where I've been planning since the 70's to spend winters as soon as my Ohio house is paid off) around Christmas, and possibly her returning to Ohio for the summer, but I'm focusing on December since confirmed, while her possible June trip is still pending.

Someone fucking said it. Someone finally put into into (FFN) writing, and it was perfect. That is, "tu me manques". Because of the way French works it means so much more than the translation, and it's always been a personal description for Mileven seperation since the start. Like, the way you used it was so absolutely beautiful, I love the way you twist and extend words and phrases like that. Really good chapter, looking forward to seeing more light oneshots in the future (implies that this was lught even though it was a part of a serious story, not my intention). And don't apologise for how shit life can be, it's not your fault. That being said, I squealed like a nine-year old when you said "next week". ! Cant fucking wait. :):):)

You so don't need to apologize. I'm really happy you're back, but I'm even happier that you're in a good place again. That's the most important thing for sure. BUT, let's talk this chapter real quickly. Great little chapter to get back into things. I'm glad that El is slowing things down a little bit to let the love and caring pour into this relationship before diving back into sex. The chapter 8 sex was really unhealthy in many ways, so I agree that she needs to be more physically, mentally, and emotionally ready. And so does Mike... at least mentally and emotionally. Hopefully that's sooner than later (like next chapter! haha), but these two have had a rough 4 years and it doesn't come easily. I like that Mike understands this as well. Once he got past a lot of his anger, he sees more clearly and knows to be gentle. Good luck with exams.
