Because this came up in my CS feed, I have to ask some things. I don't get shipping Swanfire. He is a much older man who took advantage of a 16 year old girl. Actually it was statutory rape. He abandons her under the false claim of helping her meet her destiny. There were ways to leave without setting her up to go to jail. He says if he'd known she was the saviour he wouldn't have gone near her. Hates her magic which is a part of her. In the end, chooses his abusive father over her and her son. Despite a poor attempt by writers of the show, nothing in canon supports the claim of "hero." He's a fool, a coward, weak, and caves at the first sign of trouble.
